Check new sizing chart for Sanita clogs
I've had several pairs of Sanita clogs..This is the first pair I've ordered since they changed the footbed to a memory foam.I prefer the old style footbed. The memory foam makes the clog more snug. I've worn them over 3 months & they are slowly loosening up but it'll probably take about 6 months before I am 100% happy.I am a flight attendant and do lots of walking. Also, for sizing I went up from a 38 to 39. The Sanita website has altered their sizing charts so make sure to check it.prior to ordering. I made the mistake and ordered same size I have always ordered and they were too small. The leather upper part appears to be the same superb quality along with the soles.

Rock Star Clogs. Consistant Quality & Superior Fit. With a Little Love; They Can Last You a Long Time.
I love Sanitas! I have been a big fan of these clogs for many years. Why I Buy Sanita Instead of Dansko?I buy Sanitas because they are still made in Europe verses Dankos which are now made in China. No disrespect to Chinese people. I just like that these European-style clogs are still made in Europe. It's sad that it's not Demark (I believe that they made now be made in Poland?).....but at least still in Europe. The Fit?The fit on this style of clog is very consistent. I believe that once you have figured out the most comfortable Sanita size for you; you can feel comfortable re-ordering that same size each time. If you have been wearing Danskos you will most likely need to go a size up when you order Sanitas. I am a size 42 (I am a American women's 11-12) with almost all Dansko Clogs and other styles; but I am always a 43 when I order Sanita clogs.****There is an interesting write-up at The Clog Outlet .Com's website, if you would like to know more about the Dansko/Sanita shoe structure/sizing differences and the company split back in 2007ish at http://www.clogoutlet.com/Articles.asp?ID=138What Can This Style of Shoe Be Best Worn With?I have three pairs of Sanitas on hand for my work wardrobe. There is a pair in black, a pair in blue and a pair in brown. These clogs work with almost anything casual or business casual. **One thing that I will mention is that if you are lazy about keeping you shoes polished; your satisfaction with the appearance of these clogs will be diminished. I find this especially true with the Blue Cabrios. This is why I rarely wear these to work. The black clogs are definitely the most forgiving in this area. ***My suggestion would be to find a good cobbler (it only costs a couple of dollars to have them buffed, polished and shined for you) or just grab a little jar of polish and get it done. It's easy and only takes a moment. It's well worth it.The Arch Support?I have relatively flat feet and these shoes provide a great built-in arch support. I bought a pair for my mom, who ha pretty high arches, and she did not like them as much. Like anything else......if you are unfamiliar with the style.....you should try a pair on in order to check the size and see how you feel about the arch. I rarely experience back pain. When I have worn other styles of shoes (non-clogs) to work and have been on my feet all day; I do.They are amazing if you are on your feet all day in a culinary job, are in the medical field, etcetera.Break-In Period?Oddly enough, I don't ever feel as though there is a real "break-in" period with these shoes. They never pinch or rub. The leather is, of course, stiffer when they are new but quickly softens and conforms to your foot.Yes, They Can Last You a While. :The shoes can last a long time. I am on my feet most of the day(I am hard on shoes) and I have been wearing a couple of these pairs for more than 2 years. I have a Cabrio colored pair, that I don't wear as often as the black or brown, that I have been wearing for at least 5 years. If you only wear the shoes casually or to an office job; you may be able to get much longer out of them with regular maintenance and polishing. They insides will, of course, break down inside over time. All shoes have a lifespan....whether it's running shoes or 5" heels. :)If you have only a single pair and do not rotate your work shoes; you may opt to replace the shoes sooner. You will know when it's time to replace them by how they feel. It's subtle; but you will know. All of that having now been said...... I highly recommend Sanita Clogs!

Missing patent 0060240 (included in photo) but closest to original Dansko clogs I've found
One of the photographs included in the description of this item is not accurate, or rather, does not reflect the shoes I received. Specifically, there is no patent number 006240 printed on the bottom of the shoes as shown in the picture. I was trying to replace a pair of Dansko shoes which carry this patent number and selected this purchase option due to the photo. The current status of the Dansko/Sanita patent situation is unclear to me. I have a couple pairs of Dansko clogs with the patent printed on the sole, and was trying to replace these. I received a pair of Dansko Professional Box clogs as a Christmas gift which were damaged and returned; I noticed though that they were much lighter in weight and of much poorer materials and construction. In exchange for those, I decided to try these Sanita Professional Cabrio clogs. These seem to be the same weight as my original Dansko clogs, and the construction and materials are comparable. The quality is definitely much better, but their longevity untested. There are slight variations in height of inseam part of shoe, but that may be due to the style of the shoes. (All of mine are "Professional", but there are several varieties available these days.)For the record I received Sanita Professional Cabrio - Brushed Off Leather - Color 2 Black - Article [style] 457806W - EU Size 38

I love these shoes, but they don't like me
I bought a pair of these from a local store, fitted by the salesman, and found they were just a little too small after breaking them in, and rubbed in all the wrong places. I gave them to a coworker and ordered a size larger from amazon, for a much better price. I love these shoes, they change how I balance my weight across my feet, give me plenty of support, and my feet never hurt like they used to at the end of my shift. The only problem I have with them is one of my feet tends to swell up larger than the other one, and once it starts the weight of the shoe presses down painfully against the top of my foot. I had bruising and broken veins before I gave up and switched back to a non-slip tennis shoe. I still wear these shoes as casual footwear, as long as I am somewhere where I will be able to sit down at regular intervals. I wish there was a version that was nonslip and slightly lighter, because these would be my only pair of shoes if it weren't for the pressure across the top of my foot!

not great advise as I do actually need to be able ...
I am a nurse and have worn a variety of clogs over the years however these were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn, my feet were bruised and painfull they caused cramp in the foot ached for days! Unsympathetic seller who advised me to continue wearing them in, not great advise as I do actually need to be able to walk while I'm at work! Expensive and useless shoe.
