Bought this with me on a picnic and it worked perfectly! The size was perfect, I was able to have a spacious and comfortable picnic with my boyfriend on this mat. It was easy to fold back into its original shape. It does have a plastic-y smell when you first open it but if you leave it open to air out the smell will go away. I highly recommend this picnic mat! I will definitely use it future outdoor trips!

It arrived really quickly. Had a weird smell when I took it out if the package. Washed it and just let it air dry; the smell was gone. We took this to the pool and used it on the grass, held up well to water, drinks being spilled, food crumbs and normal wear of kids. Nice size; hard to fold in its original shape but not a deal breaker. Love it.

I really liked how large and durable this mat was. We used it at the beach and it was large enough for 3 adults to sit next to each other on it and not be cramped. The material isn't the softest or most "comfortable" but we spent several days in a row on it and weren't really bothered by the texture. It did well in repelling water, and shaking it off removed the majority of the sand. It is a bit heavy when folded because of it's size and material weight, but not so heavy that it was a major inconvenience to carry along with all our stuff. While it can be folded back to its original shape and has Velcro to hold it closed, it is so large that if you didn't pay attention when opening it, or you can't still see the folds/creases in the blanket, it can be tricky to get it back to its carrying state. We ended up not even bothering and just folded it like a blanket or flat sheet and it stayed put enough to transport.

I have been looking for a mat or something other than a blanket that I could take to the beach or lake without it getting ruined if it got wet or sandy. This is perfect for that. It cleans up nicely, is good quality and folds up to a size that's easy to transport.

I was surprise at how small this mat is in its folded form and it made me think that this mat is going to be hella small. However, as soon as I unfolded it, I was surprised! It's big enough for two adults to lie down without touching each others' arms. You can even have a child laying down in the middle - it is that big! I am very happy with this purchase and going to use it on our camping trips!

Purchased to protect a brand new SUV that will haul hunting equipment, fishing gear, golf clubs, bowling balls, landscape materials, recyclable containers, etc. Used only once so far to bring broken down cardboard boxes and large garbage bags full of plastic, glass and metals containers to the recycle center. Worked great! Owner gave it five stars and is looking forward to using it this winter (we live in Michigan) to haul his ice shanty that will be dragged in the snow and on the ice. It should stop the melting ice and snow off from reaching the carpet and keep everything clean. So far, very good! -- It is only a tarp, not a blanket.

So, first off, the plastic smell on this is very strong. I am airing it out outside in hopes of it clearing up a bit. However, the fabric actually seems waterproof and like it will clean easily. I bought this to use for my baby at the beach or at the park, and she drools and makes messes so I need something wipeable. So I'm actually ok with the fact that its not the most soft or fuzzy, because I rather it stay clean. I think itll be comfortable enough to lay on. I'm not going to sleep on it, since I have an active baby anyway! So the softness doesn't matter much to me. So its a give and take. Pros: Waterproof and wipeable, nice size, lovely colors, folds up easily. Cons: plastic smell, not so soft.

I really like this mat. Bought it to use on the beach and it's very practical. The materials also seem like are of good quality.The only downside I could metion is that it's a little bit hard to fold back so that the velcro can secure it. But it's not too big of an issue.
