Earthborn HolisticGrain Free Wet Cat Food Pouches, 6 Flavors, 3-Ounces Each (12 Total Pouches)

I have a 5 month old rescue egyptian mau, my vet recommended Royal Canin kitten cans, I purchased the 12 pack and as soon as I opened the can I knew they werent going to work out. First the smell is uninviting , the color is reddish and it seems highly processed another note is that when my kitten went to the bathroom it was runny in texture and the smell mimicked the can except a little more pungent. When I found these pouches I was not impressed when I opened it however, it smelled like real food it didnt have all of the chemicals and my kitten devoured it the texture it wet but the stool is NOT. Another note is there is no smell at all to the litter box. Not only are these a whole food for the kitten they seem to be very tasty! and the absolute best choice for my new family member.

After researching many brands, Earthborn has never had a recall and good ingredients. Unfortunately it’s hard to find a wet cat food that is made in the USA, this one is not, BUT my cats go nuts for this food. They are on the Earthborn dry food that is made in the USA. They free feed on that and I used to give them some gravy based wet food as they need wet food too but they only licked the gravy off and left the chunks uneaten. Since finding the Earthborn wet in the pouches they GO NUTS, ABSOLUTELY CRAZY FOR IT EVERY NIGHT! They eat it ALL - they lick their bowls clean. I have 3 cats and I use one packet that I split between the 3 of them and it is enough for them. It’s heavy and fills them. And now after a couple of weeks I notice that their coats are really shiny!! And so much softer and one cat had dandruff and hair loss, it’s now gone and she is so much happier and far more pleasant to pet and groom! NO I do not get paid for writing reviews. That’s just wrong. I truly want to inform other buyers of my personal experience.

What's nice is that it's grain free. Cats enjoy the flavors,but a bit pricey to order on a regular basis. Can also be found at Steins Garden Center for the same price.

My Cat loves this food, and I love the convenience of the packets. Better then canned food, less waste of the food, he eats one packet a day,plus his dry food. I have one happy kitty and I'm a happy cat mom, who is giving her cat healthier food, stop purchasing cheap store purchased foods, it's not healthy for them, and get healthier options on amazon.

Our little guy Gus went through a period of about 9 months when he lost so much weight and was so obviously ill that I felt sure he'd die. The symptoms pointed toward IBD. A few months ago, though, his body apparently decided it was tired of being ill, and he is now a healthy, happy (old) kitty. To keep him satisfied, I feed him about one packet of Earthborn as a supplement to healthful dry food daily. He loves it. I wish I could feed him only the Earthborn, as he is a huge fan, but it's too expensive to be the only food. I've tried the canned Earthborn flavors, but he seems to like the texture of the packet food more.

As other reviewers have mentioned it is a little difficult to get all of the food out of the bags. I use a fork and scrape the food out....not a reason for a lower rating. I love how clean the ingredient list is with no fillers. My cats love the food and it helps them maintain a healthy weight. They seem to enjoy all the flavors equally.

I had high hopes to get my cats to eat this food since I very much liked the clean ingredients (first two are meat followed by broth). Unfortunately, none of my 3 cats at home and the one we have at work will even touch or try it. They look at it and leave it. This food is very dark in color (not very pleasant to the eye) and has a very moist consistency. I did not like the ingredient list of the pumpkin/fall flavor because I don't think pumpkin should be third on the ingredient list for a carnivore. The pouch is indeed not very convenient. The only way to get all the food out of it is with a long-handled spoon in order to not get it all over your hands. Despite the gravy consistency, a lot of the food stays in the bottom of the pouch. Aside from all that, this is a good and clean cat food. I am just wondering why all my cats run from it...
