Looks really cool. Not sure I'd get the levitating one again though
The moon lamp is really cool! Nice 3d printed and sealed. No obvious way to replace the light if it fails but I'm assuming it's LED instead of any type of bulb so hope will last a good long while. Its attractive and although the base isn't real wood, it looks nice. The moon lamps are gorgeous and the levitating is fun.The 3 colors are nice and the touch sensor that controls it works great.Cord is a bit short is one little complaint. That said...I think in retrospect I wouldn't have gotten the levitating one.First it has very strong magnets. So you can't put it next to any other electronics that it might mess with. That limits where to put it.Secondly, its really hard to get it "started". I thought I wasn't going to get it levitating honestly. Took about 5 minutes of trying to hold it in place and move it around. After having it powered off awhile you have to start over and realign it all again. Once it actually is levitating though it does stay well! And that is the third thing... when you turn the light off it keeps levitating unless you unplug it. Which is cool... but I couldn't find any info on how much power it takes to just sit around and do that all day and that does bother me a little. The base stays warm so its definitely consuming energy.Very cool and mesmerizing...I love the moon lamps in general! I think id consider carefully if I want the levitating one or not though.

Updated: Did not work
Updated: My replacement lamp came, this one works. It's kind of cool. I like it a bit but my husband likes it an awful lot. He thinks it's wonderful, and has it in his office. I think it's not wonderful, but it is exactly as described. It looks kind of cheap to me, but it's a kind of cool lamp. I don't love it, but it is as pictured and as described.Original review:I had to send this in for a replacement. First one didn't work at all and I'm convinced it was weighted incorrectly. I tried for an hour to balance it, my husband tried for a half hour. We never got it balanced and the pull was strong. When we would get it in range, the light would turn on, but it would make a grinding noise.I sent this back to exchange and if I have luck with the next one, I'll happily update. So far, though, it's been returned.

Very geeky lamp
The media could not be loaded. Cool lamp. It took me a few tries to get the moon situated on top of the base correctly. Once it's placed on the base correctly, just a light flick on the moon to make it rotate and it would keep on rotating and levitating indefinitely. You can also keep the lamp standing still or control how fast or slow it moves while it's levitating as well. It has 3 light mode: white, light yellow and amber. It makes an awesome night light. Very relaxing to look at. I wish they also make one for planet earth, that'd be another cool lamp own.

Mesmerizing
Just as advertised. I also have a similar item with a square, block base instead of this dome. The dome looks far more "correct." Celestial objects are rarely cubes. This gets lots of favorable comments. It fascinates people. I guess it can be a nice night light for a kid. I'm a 70 year old kid ... I love this toy.

EDIT: Worked for a month and now will only levitate for a few minutes, then it falls.
The media could not be loaded. PROS: It is made from pretty good quality materials and is indeed a good model of our moon White, off-white, and Halloween yellow are the first main colors. Then you can play with the RGB colors on the remote, and is amazing just on pure white to observe the mom's surface.CONS: It is not as easy to set up for everyone. Try having a different family member take turns trying to get it to levitate. Some people just can't do it even once (me included) and get frustrated, spend 30min - 1hr. trying and, after giving up still never can do it, however, many people can get it into proper position in 10 seconds, every single time. It's odd, but totally worth it to have! Just don't ever unplug it, or it will fall and you will need that special person to come by and start it ip again! You can turn off the light to save money, and it is LED anyway so it uses literally A/C 5volts @ 1watt, so it's like having a nightlight on, cost wise, really.EDIT: ONLY LASTS FOR A MONTH. NOW IT WON'T LEVITATE FOR MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES.

Made for a great and interesting gift
Got this for my brother's birthday and he loved it. It looks stylish and funky and according to his words works great overall. In my personal opinion, the price is slightly high for a lamp, but compared to others this got the best reviews and lowest price ratio, thus I can say that for us the product worked good.

Cool, rotates by itself.
Looks nice, a little tough to find the balance point. The literature says to take off after power is turned off, so needs repositioned when turned back on, but not that hard once you do it a few times.
