Just wash the aragonite fines off the top of the plug by rubbing with a finger under running water (1 second per plug) and they are ready to use. Perfect size and weight. Durable. Can be reused many times.I’ve been using them by the hundreds for years, and they are my favorite of many different types of plugs I’ve tried. I’ve never had the issues the one reviewer said with glue not sticking, prone to algae, or rust. Really don’t know what they are talking about. Also never had any significant number broken.

The bags came in with a ton of moisture and the plus were very sandy and smelled like fresh clay. I'm having a ton of problems getting the coral to stick to the plug. Not happy at all with these plugs.

I like Oceans wonder frag plugs, but these are not ceramic. They require significant rinsing and soaking before use which is annoying. However, considering how inexpensive they are, not a deal breaker

The frag plugs came in with many of them broken in the bags 7-10 in each bag. When applying the frags the top layer of the plug will peel right off when the glue is dry causing the frag to fall off... Additionally the plugs attract a lot of algae and started to rust within a week. $40 dollars wasted.
