Just what I needed!
I ordered this cane-seat hybrid over many others I researched. I was looking for a lightweight seat to carry with me when grocery shopping or at a museum. It happens that I can suddenly feel wilted and need to sit for a few minutes. I don't really need a cane per se but a lightweight, foldable seat that I can sling over my shoulder would be really handy. I selected this one because the seat is canvas--making it lighter in weight, it has a lightweight case with strap, the weight it can hold is above my body weight, and the price was very reasonable contrasted with others. The closeup pics looked similar to canvas camping chairs that fold, and I could see the velcro strap. Since buying it I am very pleased. I would prefer a design that doesn't require the cane head to be between my legs, but at my age I don't really care to spend more than double the price for that. I'm pleased with my choice! One suggestion: add a rubber tip for the main cane stick.

Very poor quality
The only thing I liked is that it had a fold down seat.It was very poor quality. The seat was too low, so needed to be somewhere so I could pull myself up. It was wobbly and legs not sturdy enough so I was afraid of them bending and me falling and getting hurt.

Lightweight to walk with
I just received mine today. Not a whole lot of experience but it is a tripod so understand it's a seat that will do in a pinch. So, be careful or it can tip over. It looks sturdy and fits me well. I'm 140 pounds. It needs rubber cane tips because it does slide on slick floors. Other than that, it's perfect for what it is.

Not as sturdy as hoped for
I had hoped the umbrella seat would be a little larger and more sturdy for those that need to rest periodically when walking; it did not quite get there.

nice product
The only problem with this item is that the seat opens as you walk. There should be a snap to keep it shut.

Easy does it!
Used for a folk/arts festival. Worked like a charm. Folded quickly to ride in a shuttle bus. Stable. Colorful! All you could ever want in a combo cane and seat!

Cheap plastic garbage
I had the more expensive cane in this same style but misplaced it, bought this cheaper one to save money but it wasn’t worth the savings. I’m not a big guy. 5’8”, 175 pounds. Too short and I have to hunch over a bit to use it. Not only that, but the legs flex and now if I put any weight on it because the whole thing is made from plastic. Just spend the extra $25 and get the metal version. This thing is junk. Haven’t tested it in stool mode because I’m afraid it will just collapse, given how it reacts with just some of my weight on it. Ended up returning. Waste of time.

Not really useful as a cane
If you just want a lightweight chair it is fine. It is clumsy to use as a cane.
