Crucial in arizona
These gloves have protected my hands while fly fishing the Colorado river near Lee's ferry in Arizona.. I also wear them when stand up paddle boarding. You can't beat them for comfort and they dry quickly when they inevitably get wet.

Great fishing gloves!
I finally decided that if my stripping hand got sunburned one more time, it was going to have to be removed. Sunblock just never seems to work all day for me and some how when I am on a river fishing, I do not always get the second and third coats of it applied. I have watched a buddy or two struggle with their gloves....mainly hanging the line on the edges of the fingers. So I did as much research as I could on the net and bought these gloves because they seemed to fit the fingers well with no apparent snags. I can honestly say that I put these guys on and immediately forgot that I had them on. Fished 3 full days, no sunburn, no blisters, no heavy calluses to get sore. And when I absolutely had to "handle a fish", the grip was increased which meant less pressure on the fish. Only hangup I had was on a dropper hooking my glove when unhooking a fish from the dry fly...but better the glove than my hand. I highly recommend this glove. Absolutely comfortable for me! Up-Date -- Excellent and VERY Useful for all-day ocean fishing
So far VERY GOOD. I have used them saltwater fishing from San Diego. So far very good. after the trips I was them in a bucket of soapy water and air dry . They have stood up to this without loose threads. I am able to hold live bait to hook it and I am able to tie knots (although I still often take off the right glove for knots). They have saved my hands from sunburn and as an added value reduced the line cuts to my finger joints from pulling hard on braid knots. As the season goes I will see how long they last . . . . so far very good.Up-Date -- they are working out VERY WELL!!!You do need to wash them if you handle bait - or they get pretty ripe.I am able to tie knots AND keep my dermatologist happy, at the same time.

Great protection
Been using these gloves for years. They work great all season long for sun protection and protection from sharp gill plates and spines. Also pull double duty as atv gloves.

Decent gloves for the price
I bought these gloves to battle saltwater inshore fish from my kayak. The gloves fit well and are comfortable. I've washed them a few times after sliming them with fish mucous. After about a year, one of the gloves is starting to pull from the threading. If I knew what I was doing, I'd fix it, but alas, I'm a man, and I know how to cook steak. Expect about a year of solid use out of these gloves, but still, not bad for the price.

I just use these for sun protection while driving and walking my dog. The palms aren't grippy at all, but since my fingertips are still exposed, they work for me for driving. My hands are about 7.5 inches long from palm to fingertip, and about 7.5 inches around and the small fits, but just barely. Medium would probably have worked also.

Great gloves for hiking
I'm an avid hiker and I bought these gloves for some protection or especially when having to grab onto rocks. They are light and comfortable and the no fingertips makes it easy to grip other things, such as using my camera which I do quite often. I would not recommend them for cold hikes though. I was recently hiking in about 50 degree weather and my hands were pretty cold so I would only use them during warmer weather.

Great fishing gloves
These gloves are great. I wear them in the winter under my mittens or heavier gloves. They keep my hands clean and warm. Also I have no issues grabbing fish with them as they protect my skin from the slime and sharp fins. I haven't tried them yet in the summer but can definitely see myself using them all year long.
