I love this truck bed cover. I did lots of research before choosing this one and it’s everything I wanted and more. Installation went pretty smoothly, was a little tough to make the side pieces flat on the truckbed but we eventually got it by adjusting the clips, and it has been great. 99% waterproof, except when we had a horrible storm and got record rainfall it did get a little wet.

We purchased this same cover back in 2016 for my husband's truck. It was much heavier, which isn't a good thing. It was difficult for me to flip back. We needed to purchase a new cover because of hail damage. Fast forward to this model - looks to be made of new material and it is so much lighter but just as sturdy! We love the functionality. Perfect fit and looks great!

Easy to install yourself. Aligning it so each fastened section grabs properly takes a little diligence, no biggie. Second time really used, one of the cables pulled right out of its attachment. Really...? Before starting the whole return process, we took the section apart and the aluminum crimp never ever had been crimped to hold the cable tight. Easy fix. Therefore, checked all of them; the others were all fine. So, workmanship gets less than five stars. Otherwise great...happy we didn't go with any type of soft cover, even the BAK X4S. We have enough "soft cover" worries with the hot tub cover in the back yard. Hard cover the way to go...

I will admit that the bed cover was a little pricey, but I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It fits and looks great! If I need to put a washer or grill (which I did) in the bed, I just easily open up the cover and latch it down and it takes about 23 seconds. Then once the stuff is gone out of the bed, I put the bed cover back down. If I want to get groceries or something like that, it works like a trunk. I can lock the tailgate and you can't open it. I really like it! It looks sharp, I've heard it improves fuel economy but I haven't really noticed. It does look sharp and very useful! Great purchase, and from now on I will always use a bed cover for a truck.

This a great bed cover. Mine is installed on a 2017 1500 Silverado with a 6 1/2 ft. bed. I was impressed how easy it was to install. Took about 30 minutes. The quality of the materials is excellent. Water leakage even through a car wash in minimal. I recently went on a camping trip and it secures my cargo in the bed very well, however you have to have locking tailgate otherwise your cargo will not be secure. I very much like how it folds open if you have hi-profile cargo, very easy to use. Was a little expensive but it is a high quality product and you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

Impressed with Bakflip MX4 bed cover for my 2019 Silverado. Received shipment much sooner than expected. Appearance & quality is impressive.

This is the second one I’ve owned. The first was a 5-star product. This is an easy 1-star. They went cheap quality everything. It’s way lighter and is no longer a rugged, reliable product. Installation was a nightmare and I installed my last one just fine. It’s just that they went so cheap on everything. I’m not happy with it. I hate it. I’m thinking how I can repair my old one and throw this new one in the trash. What a waste of $1200!!!

Great concept for installation BUT the design of the side rails and clamps SUCKS. A longer angle on the side rails for permanent installation would cut installation to a minimum. For that matter for the clamps as well.

Somewhat heavy if you're watching the payload, doesn't seal very well on top of the tailgate but is does better than the retrak cover I had on my old truck.
