I ordered this as I had to produce a set of photos that where going to be over 30gb, really impressed by the way they are presented in a single box, very colourful usb's, good price and speedy delivery, actually arrived earlier than anticipated and that let me get the usb to the customer a few days early.

I like this UBS stick because it has an indicator light that comes on when you plug it in. This USB stick is not a particularly high-speed device. I would spend a bit more if you want somewhere to store video files! If you want it for photos, then it is perfectly acceptable and there is no point in spending any more for a USB stick.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I make and exception for this product because it has such a high customer rating. Don’t be fooled, as I was, by its 4.3 star rating – this is truly an awful product. The write speed is quoted as 12 MB per sec but writing a 3.7GB video file took several hours. That’s bad enough but it appears to write the first 100 MB relatively quickly then pauses for a long long time.My best guess is that the stick has large fast buffer that receives the data and very slow memory chips where the data is finally stored. This means that if you are writing a medium sized file – say 100 MB the transfer appears to have completed satisfactorily however if you unplug the stick at this stage you will lose the data and possibly corrupt the whole stick. Several hours for a transfer of less than 4 GB is unacceptable!I have lost data and one stick has failed completely and wont even reformat. I did not find this out until long after the returns window. If you are considering purchasing this item I suggest you check out the 1 star reviews.

These work fine. Still on the lookout for some value USB 3 sticks. But if you are not in a rush...these are ok.

The listing states a write speed of 30 MB per second. I find the maximum is 7 MB/s which is painfully slow for video files.
