Knox Gear Concert Ukulele Case - Durable, Water-Resistant, Padded, Protective Case with Handle, Adjustable Shoulder Strap and Storage Pouch (Black)

This is a good compromise between price and quality. I needed a case to travel by plane. I wanted more protection than a gig bag could offer. I didn't want to pay for a hard case and spend more than my uke cost. This case is made of rigid foam to give good protection in the overhead, but at the same time is very light. See the measurements in my uploaded photos. My uke fits snug so will not rattle around inside. If your uke is any bigger than the photos shows, it might not fit. There is an outside pocket for some sheet music and an inside area for some bulkier items like a tuner. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Not a hard case but the padding is firm enough to offer protection. Nice looking and fairly light weight. My standard size/shape concert ukulele fits perfectly. The accessory compartment is large enough for tuner, capo, case with thumb and finger picks, tuning fork and mobius strap. My folding floor stand goes in the outer pocket for jam sessions. A big song book would probably fit into a tenor sized bag but a concert ukulele is a bit too small for that. Plenty of room for chord wheels and cheat sheets though. I'm quite happy with the case.

I wanted a hard case, but also to carry the case on my back like a soft case. This case is like a hybrid of hard and soft, with the cost in between, as well. It offers the protection of a hard case, but also has a strap, so it can be carried on the shoulder or back. My Mitchell MU70 fits almost perfectly. It won't move from side to side, so it's quite safe, but the case is a bit deep, so I've added a folded cloth to keep the ukulele from flopping in the unlikely event that the case is turned upside down. The compartment under the neck is quite large, easily holding extra strings, polishing cloth, and tuner. There is also a pocket on the outside, which can hold small books, chord chart, etc. Oddly, it zips open from the bottom, so you can't put anything over sized in it leaving the top open, and for the concert size, it's not quite large enough for a typical music book. Since most hard cases have no pocket, it is still a bonus. All in all, I'm quite happy that I have a sturdy case that fits my uke well and I can carry it hands free, which will be helpful when I take it to school with me.

For the price this is the case to buy. It is super sturdy, looks professional and fits the Uke tightly so it doesn't move around. Under the neck is a compartment where you can store your tuner and a humidifier (when it is not being used). Outside is a nice size pocket for spare strings and perhaps a pocket size laminated chord chart. It is lightweight too! My only wish is that it came with two straps instead of just one. I am going to try and order another strap so that I can attach them on the back of the case to wear like a backpack. For the money THIS is the case to buy to protect your instrument while traveling or just at home. A soft case maybe cute, but it won't protect it like this will. Plus you will look more professional!

Looks great, but my Concert Ukulele was really tight getting seated in cutout. Almost thought I was going to return, till I figured out the cutout worked when I placed the end of the body in first, then the whole body base. Even harder when I put my strap on the uke. It still worked, but thought you could benefit from this info.Very sturdy case. I have simular cases for my Soprano and Tenor Ukuleles and they are not this tight around the body so I was surprised.

It's a simple case, which is absolutely fine. It arrived poorly packaged, half out of a plastic bag that was in a box that was coming apart. The case didn't look dirty or previously used fortunately. We'll see how it holds up on my trip next week.update: the case did well in the overhead bin and survived the cab driver sitting it in the rain, which thankfully was only a few seconds. Glad it wasn't pouring.

I am really impressed how sturdy this case is. I have hard cases and day bags for my ukuleles and now I have a case that do double duty. With this case I can safely store and humidify my ukulele or I can use this case to take it out and about replacing my day bag when I feel I might need more protection. Great case. May have to get another.

Ordered a concert size case for a Kala concert ukulele. It won't zip shut and the ukulele won't lay in the case. The shape is completely off even if it did fit. I like the case. Very sturdy and good price for one like this. It simply is the wrong shape and the concert ukulele wont fit. Almost 2inches too short. Maybe I was sent the wrong case? I double checked my order and I did order a concert size. So frustrating. Was to be a Christmas gift.
