Wasn't as good as I expected it to be
Wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It's not worth the amount of money I paid for it, and the pictures aren't good.

The Real Thang!
This book is so good - MaryLou is so rich in the history of Prince. I love her writing, I love how she shares so many beautiful moments that she, Prince and the "inner circle" loved, understood and supported him. MaryLou thank you so much for sharing your life moments and memories with Prince, his friends, and understanding where this man was coming from. Many thanks again, Gloria

A small glimpse of the person that was Prince
I read this wonderful book in one sitting last night which is how I felt it needed to be read. Loved it. I have probably read most of the books written about Prince but this was different in that Marylou knew him and interacted with him on a daily basis. I would put this book next to Duane Tudahl’s and Stuart Willoughby’s also wonderful books in that all three have all the things I want to know - how he recorded, the places he frequented in Minneapolis and the human being (or part of the human being!). I loved the heaters story but the best part for me was when, many years later, Marylou took a friend to a concert who was surprised that Prince hadn’t reached out and said hello. “But he did.. he played a couple of bars of ‘The Most Beautiful..... That was my hello”. He rang later and asked if she’d liked it. The affection between them was obvious.

Good...not great.
Neat to hear insider stories...so much coming out now after his passing. This book was good but hit great. The packaging...amateurish.
