Sleek, lightweight and functional
I really love this elegant carry on. It's a good size and is light weight, but sturdy. The color is a nice creamy beige which will stand out from all the dark suitcases in a classy way. I love the look of a cream colored suitcase but was hesitant because everyone knows a light color would show scuffs. But... the texture will help hide minor scuffs that may happen over time and if it does get permanent marks, I can replace it without feeling too guilty considering the reasonable price. The handle extends easily and the wheels turn smoothly. I love that it is NOT the "clam shell" design that takes up so much room when you open it. If you use a couple of packing cubes, I bet you could easily fit a week's worth of smartly chosen outfits. I thought it had a "wet pocket" inside, but it doesn't. Just two mesh pockets. This isn't a big deal to me considering TSA limits wet items you can bring anyway and I will pack those in a separate bag. It has little feet on one long side so it doesn't have to rest on the wheels if you need it to orient another way. Overall, I am very pleased and can't wait to go on my next trip!

LOVE THIS BAG!
Love, love, love this luggage! I looked at a TON of bags before my recent trip to Rome because I wanted something stylish that also wouldn’t take up too much space. European hotel rooms are usually a bit smaller, and the one we stayed in only had a tiny corner closet—no dressers at all. Having a top-opening suitcase made such a huge difference. I could keep it on the luggage stand, open it from the top, and easily access all my things without the suitcase taking over the entire room. My husband brought a typical clamshell suitcase, and his took up so much room. It was constantly in the way, which made me even more grateful that I chose this top-opening style. The wheels roll smoothly and softly, the color is beautiful, and the overall design is just perfect for travel. It handled the trip to Italy really well with only minor scuffing. On the way back it picked up a few more marks, but that’s totally normal for any luggage, and if you want to keep it pristine, you can always buy a luggage wrap. This bag was exactly what I needed, and I truly love it. I’m already excited to take it back to Italy next year!

Beautiful green suitcase and great quality.
I am obsessed with these suitcase and the 16” was the last piece I needed for my set. I have the 3 larger sizes. My go to luggage due to the top opening and not clamshell style. It holds more than you expect and the wheels glide like butter. The green color is beautiful and the material is very durable and doesn’t scratch easily.

Very well made, fits in over-head bin of Delta Connection's CRJ-900, and NOT a clam shell design
I’ve always had a small carry-on for short trips and the largest allowed carry-on for longer ones. But the larger one did not fit in Delta’s Canada Regional Jets a.k.a., CRJ900 (much smaller over-head bins). This 20” carry-on is just slightly smaller than my other one, but it fits in the CRJ over-head bins. As for what I can fit inside…. I really have not had to leave something behind because it didn’t fit (when compared to my other slightly larger carry-on). Looks: It is actually quite stylish, I think. The grayish-blue (or blueish-gray) tone is nice. Function: I hate the “clam shell” luggage. You have to be careful when closing/opening a lid that holds half of your clothes. If it has a full divider that zips closed, then that's "less bad". But you are still closing a heavy lid. I did not want a fabric/canvas one, even though those have a top-lid design. I searched and searched for hard shell luggage (both online and at local stores). All I kept finding was the dreaded clam shell design. I finally found this one which has a hard shell (well, not fabric/canvas, but flexible polycarbonate PC material) AND a top-lid design. GREAT!!!! The lid also includes straps that keep it from going all the way over (a nice touch). You can unhook these straps, if you want. It includes the TSA lock. That being said, the combination wheel looks flimsy. But that may be deceiving. Time will tell. I have not seen any review stating any problems with it. So maybe it’s just my wrong impression. The wheels work VERY well. My home airport has carpet, which I hate. Many times, I tilt my 4-wheel carry-on on 2 wheels and pull it like the older luggage because the wheels don’t roll well on carpet. But WOW…. The wheels on this one work very well on carpet (my other carry-on is a Samsonite, and the wheels on this one work much better). The retractable handle does not take up much space on the inside, and the lining is loose enough so I can pack smaller clothes between the bars without issue. Durability: This luggage includes an aluminum reinforcement ring/frame, which not only adds strength to it, but adds another stylish touch. This is my first polycarbonate PC luggage, so I cannot yet attest to the durability of the material. But it is supposed to be strong, and so much luggage is made of this material these days, so I’m not worried. I remember seeing a video of someone sitting on it, showing its strength. So I tried it. I sat on it while waiting for my flight (about 175 lbs.). No damage. Measurements: Interior dimensions are 18.5" long, 14" wide, and 8" tall (see where the measuring tape bends in the attached pictures). The lid adds one more inch to the height for a total of 9" interior height. Exterior dimensions, including wheels and handles, are 22", 15", and 9.75". This carry-on is just slightly smaller than my "largest allowed" Samsonite carry-on. But it fit in the Delta Connection CRJ-900 over-head bin (the largest allowed carry-on does not fit, which is why I bought this one). Negatives: Nothing is perfect. But the negatives for this luggage are so minor, I almost gave it 5 stars, regardless. But then decided on 4 stars because, though minor, it has negatives. #1, It lacks a handle at the bottom (by the wheels). I use that handle a LOT with my other suitcases. You can pick up the suitcase by both the top and bottom handles for a quick move without having to zip up the lid. #2, The handles are not centered. I imagine this is because of the aluminum reinforcement ring. But with the right design, you can have the aluminum ring AND handles that are centered. Off-centered handles make it hang awkwardly when picked up. #3, The retractable/telescoping handle is too wide. My backpack has a strap that is designed to go over the handle so that the backpack rests on the suitcase and does not fall over. But with such a wide handle, I have a hard time getting the backpack strap over it. Overall, I am very pleased with this suitcase. My larger 26” canvas check-in suitcase ripped during my last trip (I had it for maybe 15-20 years). So now I’m looking to replace it with the 26” version of this one. So yes…. I am quite pleased with it.

Handled everything that was thrown at it
UPDATE: 6/2/2026 We have now put this luggage through the wringer (and the airlines have had a hard go at them too, trust me) and I have to say these are the single best suitcases we have ever owned. Our last trip we took five flights and the airlines did manage to put a a dent in one suitcase's side, where the aluminum runs (see picture), but the case kept everything inside safe and it opens and closes without any issue. I was already able to get the dent out from the inside. We got white so it would stand out on the carousel which means plenty of visible scuffs and scrapes, but who cares? I have found nothing survives airline luggage handlers for long anyway. The photos are to show you how little damage these cases took after eight countries, plenty of cobblestone paths, and numerous luggage handlers. We have transported glass bottles and ceramics in these cases and came home with everything intact. The zippers and the locks continue to work well. The wheels roll along as good as the day we bought the luggage. This past trip I I didn't see a storm drain opening and one wheel went right into it with a full suitcase (46 pounds); if that hard stop isn't going to take a wheel off, I don't think anything will. We now own three- 2 for checked luggage, and one carry-on. I lead overseas trips and rarely recommend luggage (I don't want to be blamed if something fails on a trip) but I have actually been sharing the link to these suitcases with my groups. Previous review: I wanted to wait until we had a major trip before writing a review. We completed a 22-day trip overseas and this luggage handled spectacularly. Here is a breakdown of what we wanted, and how it performed: Hard shell that won't crack or dent- I literally tripped trying to get both mine and my wife's suitcases onto a shinkansen (bullet train) and drove my knee with 190 pounds behind it right into the the center of one suitcase. Nothing. No damage at all. Wheels that move and don't break- Japan has yellow raised textures on the sidewalks for the visually impaired throughout the cities, it can can play merry havoc with suitcase wheels. These wheels danced right over them and always stayed on track. On smooth surfaces the suitcases felt like they were floating. Side note: Put the suitcase on its side when on a train or hill, if you cannot hold on to it or lock a wheel in with your foot, the suitcase will take off on you! Zipper: So far, so good. Easy to use, didn't get stuck, and didn't come open. Lock and zipper pull-tabs: the built in lock is nice, but I know just how rough airlines are, almost all of my past suitcases have had zipper tabs ripped off. I used a suitcase cover to ensure these were protected. I wish the company had a little bump-out on either side of the zipper lock so that the zipper pulls would be better protected, but we had no issues. FRONT OPENING!!: This was a really big deal for us. We wanted hard shell, but I hate the clam-shell designs that are everywhere. Hanke got it! It worked perfectly. So happy with how this functioned. We had a Delsey, front opening suitcase, and the zipper really could not handle the corners, just not a good design. The zippers failed too quickly, which was a shame, because otherwise Delsey makes a good bag. Handle: So comfortable and easy to adjust. I like a recessed button so that I am not constantly changing the handle height accidentally (looking at you Samsonite). Size: We got the 26-inch and thought it was overkill, but we wanted a slightly larger checked bag because there is no option to expand this suitcase. We left for Japan with half-empty bags, and they were packed when we came home. It was relaxing not worrying about organizing and space for the return, we just shoved everything in, and still came in under weight. Again, it was a longer trip, and we picked up some nice ceramics on our travels (nothing broke on the way home, the hard-shell did its job!) but maybe a smaller one for week-long trips. Hard-shell and color: Let's face it, white is going to show everything, but I'd rather be able to pick my suitcase out at luggage return and the suitcase covers not only protected the zipper pulls, but kept the scuff marks off the luggage. The luggage was strong! Very strong. Overall: I have to say, with a few domestic trips, and its first international under its belt, these suitcases have proven to be the best we have had in ages. At this price-point, I have not had anything perform as well- and I have gone through a few! I have been so frustrated with wheels that don't track, handles that break, zippers that fail, or soft-shells that look like box cutters were taken to them during loading. Let's put it this way, even if the wheels had broken off, I would buy this suitcase again. We brutalized the luggage this trip, and it took it all. I fully expected something to break at some point, just the fact that it didn't has made me a fan.

Stylish and sturdy
I bought 3 of these for my mom, daughter and myself so we could have matching luggage on our trip to LA. It didn’t disappoint. It’s stylish, light and fits a lot! Rolls easy. My daughter’s boyfriend liked it so much we got him one in black.

Perfect trunk design. Bad quality. Zippers break after one use. Sad.
WHEN this product was brand new, I LOVED the design. I refuse to use clamshell luggage, the footprint in small hotel rooms is too cumbersome, heavy and just outright a stupid design. The trunk style is the only way, I was so happy to find this piece. But sadly, after the 1st use one zipper broke. I did not overstuff it, it just didn't zip. I could still use the second zipper to zip the case, but the dongle broke on that one so I attached a carabiner to it for something to grab - every time it went through baggage claim the carabiner never returned with it. I used a strap to keep the bag secure JIC. I also couldn't lock the case because one of the dongles was missing. A louis vuitton bag was stolen out of my luggage at MSY over Christmas because of this. Now, the second zipper is broken and officially cannot use the case. Very unfortunate this broke within the first use and was barely functional for another dozen times. I am hoping this has some type of warranty with it so it can be fixed or a new one can be provided.

Perfect Travel Companion – Durable, Spacious, and Effortless to Roll!
I recently used this hardshell luggage on a two-week international trip, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I packed to the moment I rolled it through multiple airports, this suitcase delivered on every front. Comfort & Rollability: The 360-degree spinner wheels glide like a dream. Even fully packed, the suitcase moved smoothly over carpet, tile, and even cobblestones. The telescoping handle is comfortable to grip and locks in place securely. Rolling it through busy terminals was absolutely effortless. Capacity & Roominess: Don’t let the sleek design fool you—this suitcase is incredibly roomy! The interior compartments are thoughtfully laid out, with zippered sections and compression straps that helped me stay organized. I packed enough clothes, shoes, and toiletries for two weeks with space to spare for souvenirs. My absolute favorite feature of this luggage line is the zip top in lieu of the standard clamshell design. This simple design feature saves you so much floorspace by allowing you to only unzip the lid. And I feel this feature allows me to pack more inside. Durability: The hardshell exterior held up beautifully against rough handling by baggage handlers. No dents, cracks, or scratches—just solid protection. The zippers are sturdy, and the built-in lock added an extra layer of security for peace of mind. And last, the value of what you get for this piece of luggage is amazing. I hunted and hunted for new luggage before my trip and researched all of the very expensive brands. Luckily I found this for a reasonable price the provides all of the features I was looking for with the durability I needed. Overall, this luggage combines sleek style with serious functionality. Whether you're a frequent flyer or planning a big vacation, this is the suitcase you want by your side. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I went on our two week trip with this suitcase along with two of their 14" underseats, and it was perfect! The two 14" would easily fit under the seat in front of us when there was no room up above so we didn't have to worry about our carry-ons fitting anywhere when we boarded the plane. The green 24" suitcase was checked and there isn't even a scuff on it, you'd never know it went anywhere. I love how the top opens, it makes accessing and packing the suitcase so easy. I met one other lady on the trip that had the very same green suitcase, it was an immediate bond lol. I'm replacing all of our old luggage with this style, it's a dream to have and the quality is top-notch! This suitcase is stunning, I ordered the green and it's gorgeous. I ordered this suitcase because of how the top opens up. Instead of the suitcase unzipping around the middle, it's just the top that opens like a traditional soft sided suitcase and I love it. It's roomy inside and I just love everything about it. I'm taking a trip in a few weeks, I will write an update about how well it does with the baggage handlers :D
