These sheets of imitation silver leaf foil are slightly larger than the usual sheets of gold foil I get for my crafting, which makes them perfect for providing full coverage of the larger size coasters I enjoy making. With these, I coated the mould with the foil, bent the moulds to create a cracelature effect and then poured on Jesmonite eco-resin. Once dried, about 75% of the foil came out with the resin, which is the exact effect I wanted. The coasters turned out lovely once they had been lacquered to protect the top surface from heat and moisture.

horrible brush it and all comes off, cannot get smooth!

I've had a lot of trouble using this. It's not as easy as gold leaf, and doesn't seem to adhere to my items well.It may be me and my technique, so I shall persevere for a time, but it's just been very frustrating so far.Probably easier if you were using a whole sheet to cover an entire item, but not great for adding details & highlights.
