Recommended by a friend. A good addition to security. I use with a timer plug as it doesn’t seem to come on with the in built timer.

if your going away for while connect this up looks amazing you will b shocked at how realistic it looks. i had my house up for sale and i had 1 upstairs in my kids room and 1 down stairs in my living room. just leave curtain slightly open so you can see it from the outside. shine it against a wall.doesn't come with plug attachment just usb

I thought you could have this on or timed but it would appear you can only have it on 4 hour or 7 hour timed comes on at dusk (either that or I’m reading it wrong) anyway, not a problem I set it to 4 hour timed but have it plugged in to a timer, come winter I will just leave it on 4 hour, from outside it is very convincing so it is reassuring

Saw this at a friend's house and thought what a fab idea for when you are not in at night. Works a treat and looks like there is a tv on from the outside. Would recommend.

Produces a TV-like effect which is quite effective when viewed from outside through partially closed curtains or blinds but does tend to keep changing colours very quickly so not as good as it could be. TV or film images don't constantly jump around between colours, some scenes can be still for some seconds or even longer whereas this device changes colours by the second so not accurate. Building in occasional delays in colour change would make the device far more effective. That having been said, for it's price it's pretty good and for a casual observer outside a property would certainly give the impression of someone being in with a TV on. As one part of a more comprehensive home security set-up its okay.

Liked the two settings, but am using it in the 'on' position with a time switch for random on/off. In fact, that's the only setting missing to an otherwise good piece of kit.
