These bags are very sturdy, I used a hair straightener to seal the bags and had no issues. I was concerned they might be flimsy, but I almost cut myself on them a couple times because of how thick the bags are. My only negative thought to offer is that the oxygen absorbers came in a bag all together, so I had to place them in a mason jar to save the ones I didn't use. However I have read that some people also cut down a bag in half and sealed them in one of the bags as well to keep until they used them.

These are great quality bags, well worth the price. I use them for storing pasta, sugar, and other dry goods long term. I love that these actually came with the absorbers so I didn't have to order them separately. This item worked so well for me that I recently placed another order for more.I hear people complaining in the reviews a out the absorbers coming bunched in packs of 10 and not wrapped "individually." In the world of oxygen absorbers, that is actually REALLY good.Just a tip: if you do not need all of the absorbers at one time, simply have a mason jar ready and place them all in the jar and close it up. That will preserve your remaining absorbers indefinitely until you are ready to use them next.

These bags are as described by seller. They were packaged well and high quality. Every bag that I used for storing rice worked without any issue. I have no problem recommending this brand and seller based on my experience.

The bags are very sturdy and nice, but the 02 absorbers did not seem to work. I places two in each bag I prepped. They were not exposed for more than the time it took me to seal the bag closed and even days later the packet is still full of air. I might have received a bad batch, but was very disappointed that it didn’t work as expected.

With people hoarding, I was having difficulty finding staples. After picking up things a few at a time, I decided to stockpile the basics. These bags were incredibly simple and effective. The oxygen absorbers are packed in 10s, so I was able to save most of the extra packs, and bags.

I give the mylar bags and oxygen absorbers 5 stars. However, I would prefer that the oxygen absorbers be packed in smaller groups, like 10 to a packet, not all 50 in a sealed bag. Once you open the vacuum sealed bag of absorbers, you immediately have to store the rest. I'm a newbie at long term food storage and would rather not expose unnecessary absorbers to the air.

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I ordered these but they are great. Very thick and durable. I use a flat iron to seal them up.

Hey work great. I've been freeze drying different foods and they are easy to work with and heat seal. I'm very happy with them.

excellent product slight complaint was they used plastic to seal the oxygen absorbers.... the test "eye" was already pinkish red..... still good but really they sell mylar bags that they could have used to seal the oxygen absorbers???!!!

The bags were easy to seal and of good quality! Value for money.

I purchased as the 300CC oxygen absorbers were being upgraded to 500CC. Wording in ad says "Now upgraded to 500cc absorbers!"However, I only received the 300CC. I can see from previous reviews that this supplier has been misadvertising for a while.
