The media could not be loaded. Works pretty well, In the instruction manual says each portion is about 10 grams. For the cat food that I use 10 portions is about a cup... It is nice that you can schedule up to 10 portions per feeding (12 feedings total)...It is also nice that you can record a message and it will play the message while it dispenses the food. Be aware that IT DOES NOT COME with a power adaptor, so you can only use it with batteries (D batteries)... which I personally think is a fail, especially if you are going out of town and the batteries run out (I will update on how long the batteries last). Also the buttons are protected with a lid, that it's hard to open, which is nice especially if you have curious kids arund the house.--- 3 MONTHS UPDATE ---This has been working pretty good for us. So far, after 3 months I have not change the batteries, which is nice. I only have notice 1 problem. Whenever I put more food in the container sometimes the feeder gets stock and does not dispense the food... So make sure you check that the wheel inside is rotating after you put more food in. But so far so good!--- 6 MONTHS UPDATE ---Still have not replace batteries, However. I have noticed that every time I put more food the dispenser gets stock. So If you fill up with food make sure to manually rotate the dispenser in the bottom. If it doesn't rotate then you have to remove the food container, empty most of the food and rotate it from the inside of the container...

Bought this feeder after sending back two others. Most feeders are not really designed for cats; they dispense too much food at a time, and they need more than four or six feedings a day. This feeder will dispense amounts as small as 10 grams and has 12 mealtime capability - just what I needed for a cat with a sensitive stomach. Programming it is another story. The instructions that came with mine read like they were written for another similar feeder, so we're kind of on our own to figure it out. In addition, it will skip times (i.e., set up a 0900 feeding, push button to go to the 1000 and it reads 1700). And as noted in other reviews, you have to scroll through 24 hours if you want to change a meal. We've now spent about an hour and a half trying to reprogram the feeding schedule with minimal success. Also, don't fill the hopper completely full; the weight of the food will cause the rotary dispenser to stop. I have two other feeders from different manufacturers (five cats in our household) plus the two mentioned above that I sent back, and they are all aggravating to program. A keypad system would be really nice. We've had this one too long to send it back so if we can get this programming done, we'll be good.

Le distributeur a été mis en route le 4 juillet....23 jours plus tard l'horloge est en retar malgré re réglage de l'heure voir se met sur OO...à 2H00 du matin alors que les croquettes doivent être données à 3H00.Les piles sont neuves, pas d'alerte de piles vides...je ne recommande pas je vais devoir le retourner au SAV.Pas possibilité d'avoir la prise secteur en rupture sur ce modèle pour voir si là est le problème.Dommage sinon design bien et quantité pratique pour un sachet de croquettes 1,5 kg.
