This is perfect to keep my receipts dry and up for easy readability

I searched many different book stands and settled on this one. It is well-made, holds my heavy big books without any problem and when I set the angle that I want to read the book at, it holds the book steady just the way I needed it too. If there is anything that could be improved, I would say that the page retainers that are spring-loaded could have a parking position so I don't have to hold them out-of-the-way while placing my book on the stand. The book stand is perfect in what it does, holding the book steady so you can read.

I LOVE this cookbook stand. It's super sturdy and I love how adjustable it is. The best feature (for me) is that you can raise your cookbook so when you have it pushed to the back of the counter, none of your cooking supplies block your view of the book. And because of the low profile base, you don't lose any counter space.This cookbook stand is durable and easy to store. And honestly, it would make a great laptop stand for Zoom calls. : )

This stand is exceptionally sturdy, with the noted exception of the plastic clips used to hold your book or tablet in place. I understand that they probably wanted this component to be delicate enough not to harm your tablet or books, but it does seem that this is now the weak point in its construction and I do worry they will break over time. That aside, this is one hefty and strong book stand. It works great in the kitchen, holding my cookbooks, magazine or tablet up for easy viewing and (hopefully) safe from getting splashed and spilled upon. While I use it in the kitchen, it would work equally well in the office or while studying. Well made, and you can use the provided tool to adjust its tension setting for your ease of use. I find that the plastic clips allow me to very easily slip my book/tablet into place without having to use my second hand to move the clips, which is useful when I only have one hand free. So far, I really like the book stand but will update if the plastic clips cause issues in the future.
