COBIHistorical Collection World War II M26 Pershing (T26E3) Tank

Lego doesn't make anything military. This is not our first COBI or our last. My son Loves the military and even thought he is older now. He still enjoys them. These bricks could have well been made by Lego. They connect and stay on tight. They are also compatible with Lego. Very well made and does not look like some cheap imprted stuff. !

Fun build, great quality, no missing pieces. Go ahead and try one of the Cobi tanks, you won't regret it. The instructions can be tricky, just look a few steps ahead for the completed pictures. Some of the pieces are very similar, pay attention to the similar pieces guide on the first page.

I love building Cobi bricks with my son, most Cobi kits have accurate instructions and have all the block with extras pieces needed to complete the kit. This Pershing Tank bricks kit was the most frustrating build due to defective bricks, inaccurate instructions and not having enough pieces to complete the kit. Looking at the picture, you can see the gray round piece on the left is how it supposed to look and the smashed piece on the right is the defective piece. Since that piece wasn't so critical, I was able to still complete most of the kit. In the instructions the gun mantle calls for two 2x2 piece, I only had one 2x2 and a 3x2 so I couldn't mount the main gun. The reason I only had one 2x2 piece was because I used it in the gun turret, the instructions called for a 2x3 piece, but it would fit on the turret. I improvised and used the 2x2 which fit perfectly, now I'm screwed cause I needed that 2x2 piece for the gun mantle. So now I have to find a Dremel tool to grind 3x2 into a 2x2, so my kit isn't complete till this happens. Overall Cobi makes pretty good quality kits, just avoid this one kit.

Another great Cobi kit

The mini-figures don't look that good. Instructions could be clearer. I can barely read it. This set is very detailed and very sturdy. But sadly, there is almost no interior. Other than that, it is a good set.

Nice model, but required a lot of patience on my end. It was my first Cobi tank and I had to take it apart several times to finally get it right. Very satisfied with the results. The packaging could have been a little better as the box was somewhat beat up but there was no damage to the contents. There was one piece missing not the seller's fault since the box was properly sealed. (Manufacturer issue). I was able to use a different brand plate (Lego) since it was in an inconspicuous location on the turret. Other than that I am happy with the results and it is already on display.

just look at the machine gun port on the hull compared to the jagdpanthers to see the level of detail on this, turrets too small hull is too narrow it looks way off, mantlet is way off looks more like a t25.

Size is good, it's easy to build, directions are easy to read overall good.
