Great camera and app
I’ve been really happy with these indoor plug-in pet security cameras. The picture quality is excellent, with a clear and detailed image that makes it easy to check in on my pets at home. The app also works very well and has been straightforward to use from day one. I’ve found it reliable for viewing the live feed, and everything runs smoothly without any frustrating setup issues or constant glitches.Overall, these cameras have been a great purchase. They do exactly what I needed, and the combination of good picture quality and a well-designed app makes them very easy to recommend.I’ve bought a number of these plus the blink outdoor battery cameras too.

Excellent Indoor Camera That’s Easy to Use!!!
I’ve been using the Blink Mini for a while now and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home. The setup was quick and straightforward using the Blink app, and I had everything connected to my Wi-Fi and ready to use within just a few minutes. The app is easy to navigate and makes checking the camera feed simple whether I’m at home or away. The video quality is excellent for such a compact camera. The 1080p picture is sharp and clear during the day, and the night vision works surprisingly well in low-light conditions. I can easily make out details, which gives me peace of mind when checking in on my home.Connectivity has been very reliable. Once connected to my Wi-Fi, the camera has stayed online without any unexpected dropouts, and notifications come through quickly whenever motion is detected. Live view loads promptly and the overall experience has been smooth. The sound quality is also very good. The built-in microphone picks up voices clearly, and the two-way audio works well for communicating with people or pets. It’s a useful feature that performs better than I expected. One of the best things about this camera is how easy it is to use. Everything from installation to adjusting settings and reviewing clips is straightforward, making it suitable even if you’ve never used a smart security camera before. The field of view is wide enough to cover a large area of the room, reducing the need for multiple cameras in smaller spaces. I was able to position it easily to capture exactly what I needed.Considering the picture quality, reliable connectivity, ease of use, and useful features, this camera offers outstanding value for money. It does exactly what it’s designed to do and has been reliable every day.Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s a compact, high-quality indoor security camera that’s easy to set up, simple to use, and provides excellent performance for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable home security camera. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Excellent Picture Quality and Easy Setup

Great value for money Home Security cameras without needing a Subscription
I decided to buy some internal Blink cameras to accompany my outdoor cameras that I have been very happy with (to date). Noticed that these were in sale at a good price for a twin pack, so purchased them along with a Pan & Tilt Mini Camera as well.Delivered by Amazon in less than 24 hours from ordering (got to love Prime Next Day delivery!). Once delivered & opened the packaging, all 3 (including Pan & Tilt Camera Kit) cameras were installed on the App & working fine. One thing I did notice though compared to the Outdoor Cameras was that the responsiveness of the camera sensor & circuitry in sending the video signal to the Sync Module & then to my phone had a delay of about 2 seconds compared to no noticeable delay on the Outdoor cameras. i don’t know if the Mini cameras use different circuitry internally than the Outdoor cameras or not but all 3 Mini’s are the same where as both External’s have no lag at all even though they are outdoors & further away from the Sync Module. even with this minor issue, I am still more than happy with them, and anyone that says it takes a long time to setup the cameras, then that is User Error entirely. There is a QR code under the box lid that runs you through the installation (should you need instructions), but once the Blink Home Monitor app is installed on your device/s, it literally is a process of clicking the “+” button in top corner & following the prompts for scanning the QR code on the back of each camera, choosing your WiFi network (has to be 2.4GHz), entering your WiFi password & then letting the cameras update the firmware. Once Firmware is updated, then everything is all set & ready for you to make any changes in the app for camera name or personal preferences in the settings. If I had to have any downside to the cameras, it would be that the Micro USB cable supplied with the cameras is too short if you wish to mount them on an internal wall towards ceiling height (this is easily done by removing the inner base & then screwing the inner base ring to the wall & reaffixing the main base) to reach a standard height mains plug socket. A 3m (or even 2.5m) cable would have been the perfect length as 2M means it is 6” or so too short to plug into the bottom edge of the adaptor! Trying to find longer black official Blink cables is not easy either as lots of run of the mill Micro USB cables are displayed when searching for Blink cables that do not have the correct shape moulding around the Micro USB plug which means that there is much more movement available to the plug & Micro USB plugs are the weakest of all the different USB designs & could lead to very easy breakages (which is why the Blink plugs have the geometric shaped plastic to fit perfectly into the camera so any chance of cable or socket damage through movement/accidental snagging is minimised).

Great Addition to the Amazon Range
I really like these cameras. I purchased my first one last weekend, and by mid week I had purchased another. The cameras are quite easy to setup and work well with their own app and/or with Alexa routines (using IFTTT), and viewing on any echo show/fire stick device. The great thing having two or more is that on setup you have a choice of grouping the cameras together or using them separately, when you choose separate this gives you more flexibility when scheduling the cameras to record when motion is detected at different times. I have Neos Smartcams which only allow you to arm to disarm all cameras, so the blink mini wins on that score. So for example you could have a camera in your shed (subject to your WiFi range) and have this set to record trigger 24hrs if motion is detected, and another camera inside your home that you only want to schedule to record if motion is detected overnight. With both any motion detected would start the recording and send an alert to the app on your phone/tablet.If you integrated the ‘IFTTT’ applet you could also just set up a routine on Alexa to arm or disarm your camera(s) either by speaking to Alexa or setting up a routine scheduled a set time. For instance I have a morning/bedtime routine set up in the Alexa App where along with turning smart devices on and off, these routines will also arm or disarm the blink cameras. Just remember if you have each camera set up separately you would have to include each camera arm/disarm separately on the same Alexa routine. There seems to be no limit what you can get Alexa routines to do.If you view your blink mini on a echo device (once you have linked it the your Alexa App) it will do two things. 1) stream you the live feed for a few minutes only 2) record this footage within your blink app. This would be a great feature to stream longer but I think it is because it’s recording too.The blink mini comes with free cloud storage until the 31st March 2021, after which it’s £2.50 per month per camera or £8 per month for unlimited cameras, but this as not put me off because Blink are launching a Blink Module Sync 2 coming soon for around £35 pounds. This allows you to record locally onto a SD card (not supplied) and you can connect up to to 10 cameras to this. As the blink mini’s don’t have a SD slot, I think this is a going to be a great alternative to an ongoing subscription service, or buying a SD card for each camera if there was a slot for them (like with the Neos SmartCam). These cameras also work like a two way radio system so you can push to talk within the blink app, speak then take your finger off the talk button and wait for a response. The speaker on the camera is quite loud and very clearly to hear. You can only view one camera at once and have to press on the app for live feed, again this will run for a few minutes and a pop up will display asking if you want to continue viewing. In my opinion in my early review, I do really like these cameras and the in fact that you can arm /disarm using a third party app within the Alexa routines really make these work for me.I could go on because I have the Echo Flex with the motion sensor add on, and get these two devices to also arm/disarm the cameras when motion is detected, plus I get a Alexa to announce a message on two echo’s in other rooms if motion is detected, but I wont.

Easy to use and works great with a Echo Show.
Easy to use had it set up in five minutes. Once you link the app with Alexa and you name the Camera something memorable. You can ask an Echo Show to 'Alexa, show me the front door camera' after about 1 second of buffering you get a HD live stream with sound. Using the Blink app on a phone or tablet you can also talk to the camera speaker and broadcast your voice.Quality has three settings in the app which is easy to use and the cloud storage is free till March next year but they are adding a local storage option soon.If you want to monitor outside the Infrared for night vision will reflect on a window rendering it useless, it works fine for indoor use. But even a street lamp or garden lighting allows a good picture at night externally. Although the XT2 model is wireless and better for outside use imho.Works well with Alexa, buffering is probably very much about how good your Wifi is and how good your Internet connection is. The cloud storage is easy to access using the Blink app on phone or tablets and you can monitor a camera when away from home with a 4G phone.Probably works best with Echo Show as the control method in the house and will be amazing when the local storage solution comes out. But for now is a good way to stream a live camera for a few minutes to an Echo show when needed. Not good for child, baby monitor as the Live stream to an Echo show only last about 5 mins before it will stop. You can just reopen the camera but that might get annoying over time. For outdoors this is not the best model as the motion monitor and infrared do not work well through windows. But to drop in at home or on a phone away from home for 1 to 5 mins to monitor a room, pet etc or well lit external view through a window it is an amazing product for the price.

Not very impressed.
I have read good reviews of the very reasonably priced Blink camera but I did not get on with it very well. Setup wasn't too bad but other cameras I have got have been easier. The picture quality is perfectly acceptable for my purposes and I like the Blink's modern and simplistic design. However I found the 'lag' was greater than other cameras I have used. By this I mean the time delay between movement seen by the camera shows as movement on your monitor/computer etc. Now it may be my system? I am not sure because I have read reviews where the reviewers has said that the lag is minimal. Also, to be honest, if you are using the Blink just to capture & record movements/actions that have occured when you are away then the lag would make absolutely no difference to you (and you would not even be aware of the lag). However, I more often use the Blink for live monitoring and a second or two of lag is not desirable then. So, as a surveillance camera the Blink is excellent and good value, but for my needs it suffers from more lag than my other cameras. The other issue which I found the most irritating is that when you are live streaming the camera will only do that for a few minutes (up to 10 minutes). Now I know that this is a MAJOR LIMITATION with Alexa screens as they time-out within 10 minutes all the time. I simply cannot understand why this is imposed on the user. It's about time that Alexa (and Google Home screens) gave the user the option to choose whether they want the live video stream ended after 10 minutes. It's infuriating and totally limiting. I don't want to have to keep asking Alexa/Google to "show me the front door" every ten minutes. Quite utterly ridiculous. Now you may be thinking "well that's not the Blink's fault". Okay, I agree, it's something foisted upon all smart cameras. However, even using the Blink app, the same thing happens! I have several cameras that, when using their own app and viewing live action on, for instance a tablet, they will stream continuously all day. That should be the choice that I have with the Blink camera... and Alexa and Google. So, because of the above issues, I cannot recommend the Blink for live streaming. If you don't require that feature and just want recordings made of things happening when you are awar, then the camera is fine and good, in fact great, value. But it doesn't work for my particular needs i.e. live monitoring of areas of and around my property.

Finally no irritating commercials.
Purchased 3 mini cameras which I installed. Installation was easy and all 3 worked perfectly.NO irritating commercials/advertisements just clean uninterrupted views. You start with a basic plan and you will receive suggestions for a paid plan after some time.I recommend to take the plan for multiple cameras and don’t take the single plan. It provides several options. I’m very happy with Blink as I’m not constantly bother with useless commercials and expensive pro plans which I had with other cameras. I can certainly recommend Blink.
