Bought for our big guy after surgery. And it would slide down a little to easy. So if your looking for a that purpose I’d say no. But if it’s just for grooming short use then yes. Otherwise size down.

The material is natural cotton but a bit tough; it doesn't stretch or fold well. I wanted it to cover the neck only but because it does not fold well it chocked my cat despite the fact that the size I got is larger than her measurements. As an ear protector it didn't work either, the cat froze and couldn't move!I cut it in half and it worked well as a comfortable neck protector.

I bought the large size snood to keep my dog's ears out of his food and water, rather than for anxiety issues. I bought 2 more, since it worked so well. The deep, pointed front design contains the long ears of my Afghan hound when he leans his head down to eat or drink. First one that has ever worked so well. I like this fabric for winter, but it is a little heavy for warmer weather. Please consider making some that are not just Christmas patterns...possibly solid colors, as well as a lighter fabric. Snood is very well-made and works great for my dog's needs.

Material like soft ribbed tshirt. Large fits my dogs head. It is not too tight. Comfortable fit. He is approx 90lbs, AmStaff Pit Mix.We are using this to try and heal a hematoma on his ear. This prevents his long ears from flapping when he shakes his head. We have to watch him. He tries to Paw it off and he also tries to Shake It Off, but as long as I remind him to leave it, he will lay down& fall asleep. I purchased a snood from a different seller. It was very snug and my dog was making weird breathing noises with it on so we removed it. This one is working much better comfortable and normal breathin.

I like this because it fits our mini schnauzers as well as our golden doodle and my sister's collies. It's comfortable, they don't mind it and it really calms them when I use the dryer.

I ordered the large but it slid off after 2 minutes the boys didn't even need with it just through laying down. If suggest if you're at the cusp of the small to get the small so it'll stay on

I bought it for the fireworks - not outdoor but indoor use insulated house double pane window still didn't work as a calming effect for the dog. Maybe if I put cotton balls in his ears then use the sleeve. IDK Too inexpensive to return.
