I bought this because I needed a small bag I could take into Wimbledon (where there are restrictions on size of bags) and also for exploring London. I found it perfect for carrying a few smallish items, such as refreshments, a foldup jacket, suncream, maps etc. It also looks quite good. Obviously, if you need to carry bulky items, you'd need something bigger, but it was great for my purpose, and I'll use it again for similar trips.

If you're looking for a compact bag to take with you on a daytrip or even just into town or to University then this is going to be a solid choice. Even for the gym, if you're just taking a water bottle, drink and change of clothes you'll probably be fine too.So, despite its size, this bag is loaded with storage places. You've got pockets on the front and sides in addition to the main large compartment. Everything is either zip, pull tab or elasticated, so should keep things secure. In addition to these storage areas, you also have Molle webbing and elastic to hang things from should you wish.I have a large Samsung tablet that fits perfectly well width and height-wise in this bag with loads of room left over in terms of depth. I could easily pack clothes, food, books or whatever else in the space I have left over.I would say that the bag is comfortable to wear. The materials are thick, but well padded and I didn't find my back getting too hot when wearing this. The smaller size means your entire back is not covered and so can still breath a bit.The bag doesn't look cheap. The black version I picked up has that 'stealth' look about it (minus all the straps and buckles that I'll comment on in a moment). There's a little Velcro area on the front of the bag too where you can place a patch to give it a bit of character should you wish.So, yes, one aspect I wasn't keen on was the amount of buckles and straps that hang off this thing. It makes sense on larger military bags that you may carry off into the wilderness on hikes and such, but for such a tiny bag they feel very unnecessary and the bouncing and clinking can get quite annoying. I guess they have been left on there to add to the military style, but I have tucked most of them away and will probably cut a couple of the more unnecessary ones off. As an example: for a 13cm deep bag, do you really need supportive straps across your chest and across the bag's depth - totaling three sets of straps and buckles? Almost certainly not...Overall though, a really good looking military-style bag. For short trips, study trips and heading into town I think it's perfectly well suited.

Great bit of kit for the price. Holds all of the essentials for a day hike.

Good quality product. Comfortable when heavily laden.

Bought it twice

I have been using this bag daily to carry folders, laptop, lunch and my multiple bike locks, fits perfectly and have space left over. The straps are very durable and strong. I would highly recommend.

Needed a water resistant backpack for school books. This isn’t.

Je voulais un "mini" sac à dos mais qui ne fasse pas pour autant style "cartable enfant", donc parfait pour moi. Semble solide, beaucoup de poches, comme un gros sac de randonnée mais en version réduite.Soyez conscient de la petite taille (photo avec une bouteille de 50 cl pour donner une référence de taille) avant de commander.
