Great Product & Great Customer Service
My humidor was purchased in 2023. Everything worked fine for 2 years but it then began making a noisy hum. I feared it was the compressor since the noise was present when the fan at the BACK was NOT spinning. I contacted the company knowing it was just a bit after the 24 month warranty has passed to see if they could help. They initially said sorry, it was out of warranty but further exchange in asking their help in diagnosing the noise, they invited me to send an audio file to them so they might determine the sound. I did so and they suggested it was the INTERNAL fan. I didn't know there were TWO fans! The internal one is the one that constantly circulates air. I emptied the unit and discovered that is exactly what it was. They went above & beyond helping me and I was sent a replacement fan. This was simple to install and I would even say the replacement fan is quieter than the original when I first received the humidor. Perhaps the original fan was substandard from the beginning and simply degraded prematurely? Perhaps the corner of a 5 pack cellophane wrap worked its way past the guard and stopped the fan from spinning? I've included an image of the fan. The same unit is available on Amazon if your humidor begins to hum. this one: TX8025L12S 12V Wine Cabinet Constant Temperature Silent Cooling Fan Thank you to NeedOne customer service.

Real quality - at a very low price point for what you get.
When I opened it, the smell of cedar was just right. I had purchased extra cedar planks for the break in period, and 82% Boveda bags. Didn’t really need the extra cedar. It’s very quiet and went from 75 degrees to 65 in about 2-3 hours, where it has stayed. I have a couple other (non electrical) humidors. In Michigan the humidity and temperature can change at the drop of a hat. Boveda bags keep humidity simple, but do nothing for temperature. I’m hoping the heating element works as well as it cools. I was most concerned with sticks getting over 70 degrees however, not to worried about them getting cold- as the house is never below 65. It’s well made, about the size of a large computer tower. Not imposing. Found it referred to in numerous non-Amazon searches as an ideal quality unit for 150 sticks. The case light at the top is all but useless, as it only lights the top sticks. There is the concern of mixing too many types of sticks together and the flavors blending. This hasn’t been a problem in my other humidors unless I unwrapped sticks mixed together. I did that purposely with 2 brands and aged them that way for 2 years to infuse them with each other. The results - meh. Best to buy top sticks. Great buy so far. Will update if anything fails…. ENJOY !

Good cigar coolidoor
I ordered and received it very fast. The packaging was excellent and double boxed. Upon opening I was impressed with how it looked. It did come with a strong plastic smell but I decided to season it without cleaning. Seasoning took 2 days. Some Boveda 69 packs and the tray included half filled with distilled water. I eventually had to place newspaper inside overnight which absorbed most of the smell. The unit looks beautiful and seems to maintain temperature pretty well after a week or so seems to be working well. I have fit 4 boxes of cigars inside and the drawer is half filled. And could fit roughly 20 more loose sticks inside. As far as price I got a Amazon/Needone promotion for $85 off. I still think the unit could be cheaper due to the prices of competition units twice the size are about the same price as this. Either way. If you get this unit you will not be disappointed with much other than maybe the price and the fact that the inside light/hygrometer is useless. Ps I added some led lights to mine as pictured and it looks really good.

DON'T RISK YOUR CIGARS!
I would give this ZERO stars if possible... I have tupperdore that make this looks absolutely pointless. From the start my unit regularly swings 30%RH daily. The cooling / temp. regulation on it is NOT impressive either. It ruined over a thousand dollars worth of my best cigars - dried to a crisp after over a week of seasoning. It had 5 65% boveda packs and around 100 cigars - the lows were just too low and in general just way too inconsistent. This is landfill fodder - worthless.

Not maintaining Correct Temperature Control
I’ve had this 23L Needone since January of 2025. It has developed temperature control issues beginning in early March of 2025. The temperature goes up about 4-5 degrees from a set point of 69F to 73-74F lowering my Humidity causing my Govee Alarms to go off. I pull the plug and wait 10 secs and that works for another 4/5 days and the temperature goes up again. I’ve Contacted Needone for a 2nd time and hoping they warranty it. I’ve got a 26l KingChii purchased almost 1 1/2 years ago and it never has had any temperature issues. Will update this review when I hear back. To much invested in Cigars for it to be going out of whack. It was Seasoned Correctly and I have the drain plug covered like others have stated to do on Forums. Also Govee has been Salt Test Calibrated…Hoping I just got a bad egg and they will make good on replacing it. UPDATE: After a few trouble shooting emails,Needone sent me a new Unit. I changed the review to a 5 Star. Appreciate the Customer Sevice! 5⭐️’s

Works, kinda
Works better than I expected it to. When I got it I placed two 60 gram 84% biveda packs in. I made the mistake of taking them out within 3 days when the humidity got up to 60% and then placed my cigars in with 3 of the smaller 65% RH packs. The humidity dropped rapidly down to 49%. This was user error as I did not let it fully season. I took the cigars out and put back the 84% packs. I let the thing season for about 7 days total and after that put my cigars and 65 packs back in and it held humidity perfectly. As far as temperature goes it holds 68 fahrenheit with no issues in a room that is usually about 76 degrees Fahrenheit. As far as I can tell there are no seal issues and holds temp and humidity well. My only gripe is that if you do not open the door a full 180 degrees you can not pull the trays out. This is the only reason for the 4 star rather than 5 star. Over all I'm very happy with the purchase. Edit: after having it for over a month I have noticed that it does not hold humidity as I would expect. I am lowering stars because of this. I have to have multiple bovida 69% just to stay at 60% humidity. Also the strong oder of tabacco around the back side of the unit tells me it is leaking more than a small amount of air and humidity. Temperature holds as I would expect it to.

So far so good.
I am still setting it up. so far the temp is holding and the humidity is rising as expected. People are complaining about the strong plastic smell. I washed the interior as directed. I also put newspapers in for a day. I think what I’m smelling now is a strong ceded smell. I have put in a box of baking soda for a few days. Getting better. I read on one cigar site a few drops of whiskey in the humidifier. I did that. After a few days it smells a lot better. Going to finish the seasoning then probably in a day or 2 I’ll stock in my cigars. FYI the article I read that some people continue a few drops of whisky. It gives the cigars a lite whisky taste. I’ll let you guys know how that goes.
