Banding Kit - Pallet Packaging Strapping Tool, Tensioner, Sealer - 200 Corner Pieces, 200 Metal Seals, 5/8" x 885' PET Strapping

For anyone who needs to occasionally band items this is a perfect tool. The straps are way stronger than the "normal" yellow straps found on a lot of packaging. The included corner guards are a nice added touch and help keep the box from being deformed but such a heavy strap. I buy again, but there is so much strap included and the parts seem so durable that I doubt I will ever need to.

After the brick masons cut the strapping on 4 cubes of bricks, to our dismay we discovered they were the wrong color. In order to return the bricks I had to band them back together. In a bit of a panic, I bought this tool based on the strength of the strapping. Using this tool with the 5/8" strapping I was able to strap the bricks back together so that they could be loaded back on the truck to be returned. These cubes weight over 1,000 lbs each since each cube contains over 400 hundred bricks. This tool saved the day for me. If I had not been able to strap the bricks back together, I would not have received a refund on the bricks. This was the first time I have ever used a strapping tool. It took some arm strength to crimp the fasteners. I was happy the fasteners were very tight given the amount of weight that I was strapping.

The 20" longer handles make crimping a lot easier than the shorter 16" version that you find on amazon.I'd hate to have to clamp the strapping clips with shorter handles.

Used this strapping kit to bind cardboard boxes that were torn down. Also used to strap boxes together to better secure on pallets, after shrink wrapping was done. This helped to stabilize the pallet contents to avoid tipping when loading and unloading using a skid steer.Overall, the strapping kit worked well. But the thickness of strapping made it hard to work with the strapping tool. Unless you pulled all of the slack out before tightening, the strapping material would only tighten so many ratchet turns before building up in the strapping tool, making it hard to finish tightening. I suspect all of the manual strapping tools work the same. Similar to a ratchet strap, you have to take up the slack first to avoid having to ratchet. The actual strapping was pretty sensitive to cutting. It would splinter at times. Both strapping and binding tools were very heavy, making it harder to work with. Overall, this kit did the trick.

Great kit for the money, tools are rugged and the plastic packaging corners save your product.I would recommend.

I made one mistake not watching video until the end to see that the open side of the metal clamps must be facing down when using the long blue clamp on it. After that, perfect marks. I was able to properly secure with the black corner pieces(careful to thread thru the holes properly) a large humidifier I needed this summer that has a non secured bottom foam piece that it sits in.I would definitely recommend this to others looking to secure anything the straps + clamps are rated for. Very pleased with my purchase and it will last for many long years. Final note, I did not have any issue with the cutter. Thread things properly just as the video clearly shows and it works.

This works great. We have had no issues. Secures the items well and holds. At first we had the metal clips on upside down. Once we flipped them it was a perfect hold. We have used on very heavy palate loads with no issues.

Not the best. Poorly built hence the price. I works but takes more time to maneuver
