ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 24 Running Shoes

This is my second pair of Asics Gel Nimbus and I love them. I have always used Asics as my running shoes, and owned many pairs of the Gel DS Trainers. When I went into the Asics store a few years back, they didn't have them in stock, so I went with the Gel Nimbus. I love these even more! Great support, but fairly neutral footbed. Roomy but not wide toe box, heel cushion and natural stride support. I had worn my last pair for over a year, and I work out 4-5 days a week (Gym and running) so purchased a new pair. These are just as great as the last pair. I wear a size 9 in daily wear shoes, but have always worn a 10 in Asics for running. These are true to size and fit as expected.

Gel Nimbus has been my 1st choice for over 10 years. Every year has it's ups and downs however, for me, the Gel Nimbus 24 has been the perfect shoe. This is my 3rd purchase and I look forward to successfully breaking in spring training/running. My foot is narrow in the heel and a standard B width across the toe box. jWith Balega socks the fit is perfect. The shoe doesn't ride on my heel, the toe box is very comfortable with enough movement without sliding around. Good arch support and enough "give" in the whole shoe makes it most comfortable for shorter workouts or longer runs. I wear a size 9 in a standard shoe. In this make/model, I wear an 11. So make sure to get properly fitted. I love the 24!

What's not to like about these shoes???? Loved the bright color, they have laces that stay tied, which are not too long or too short. I run anywhere from 6-10 miles a few time a week and these are my go to shoes. They have decent grip for wet surfaces, and the insoles are so thick and comfortable. They do look a little bulky, but I have big feet so I say that's the reason. I live in a very humid area so having shoes that do not rub on the inside will make or break decision to return or not. These past the test with flying colors. I liked these so much I bought another pair in a different color (which are just as great feeling).

I hesitated to give it 4 stars, but it is an overall great shoe for my walks and workouts. HOWEVER… the tongue is sewn in, and I didn’t realize until I was in the middle of a 13 hour international trip that the tongue on the left shoe had been sewn wrong. It had extra fabric creating a fold that was causing a great deal of pressure on my foot. I had worn them for walking and a few weight workouts before the trip with zero pain. I guess air travel must have caused some minor swelling that made it very noticeable. Also, the tongue is not padded, which didn’t seem to be a big deal until this trip. I loosened them as much as I could, but still ended up with a red pressure area on the left, and a sore spot on the top of both feet. I was wearing little footie socks so maybe could have avoided that with better socks. There is plenty to like about the shoe though. Heel pain I had been having virtually disappeared, they have great support and good spring. I can run without feeling jarring in hips and knees. Feet feel super stable in lunges and squats. Lateral movement is good too. They do run a little short, I am usually a 7 in a running shoe, a 7.5 would have been a better fit even with thin socks. I will buy again but bigger size and will check the tongue carefully before wearing. Hope this helps someone!

I have bought several of these running shoes because they are supportive and they don’t hurt my feet. Love the purple color and design. I highly recommend these running shoes to anyone who also walks outside or on their treadmill. I am not a runner, but these work great for walking. They come in a variety of colors and sizes. I would highly recommend these sneakers for comfort and support.

I have a joint condition, but also work a job that has me on my feet a lot. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Lightweight and cushioned but still very supportive. They are my favorite.

These ASICS are so comfy, they do run smaller than previous editions. Toe bed is shorter and so I had to go up a 1/2 size larger than I wear. Still great feel with larger size.

I wanted to love these because they do feel very cushiony but as you run longer distances the cushion flattens out. I’d wear these for a short run and be fine, but I wore them today for a 6 mile run and ended with blood blisters. I started to feel them coming on at about mile 4.5-5. I wore my normal thick running socks and used foot glide, but still ended up with blisters. This hasn’t happened in any of my other shoes, so if you buy these, consider them for walking and short runs only!

La meilleure chaussure de course que j'ai pu trouvé à date. Surtout pour les gens ayant les dessous de pieds sensibles. Moi, je ne fais pas de course, mais j'ai des problèmes à me chausser, et ces chaussures donnent l'impression de marcher sur un nuage. Très bien fait.

Souliers de course très confortables, parfaits pour la course. Vraiment les plus confortables que j’ai essayé pour la course.

I love this shoes for my work cause I m walking a lot, they are very soft inside and love the color. Very good quality.
