I just installed a pair of LED batten lights to replace some old fluorescent tubes. These connectors allowed me to make a quick and secure connection. Nice and simple when at the top of a step ladder. I also like the fact that you can clip them together. Bought some time ago and only just used, so pleased I had them on hand. A bit hit or miss whether they grip the cable securely. Make sure you give the wires a tug to make sure. I made doubly sure by also wrapping some insulating tape round the wires and connectors.
