Bear Grylls 28L Backpack (Hydration Pack Compatible)

This is a really high quality back pack (which I was not expecting). I highly advise people to watch the Youtube clip on this bag. This bag has a lot of room and looks really nice.

I got this bag for a winter trek to the boundary waters, it was great. Pros: Built in Storm Cover was very useful The size is good for one-three days if you stuff it full. Hydration pouch slot for summer hikes The waist belt works well weight distribution is good Cons: Not as big as i thought the water bottle pouches seem a bit flimsy, haven't ripped yet but we will see... Over all i love this bag, it serves me well, and i would recommend it

When I received this backpack, I really wanted to like it. I have used the bag for hikes and it is great. The only down side is the main zipper! It always gets caught on the outer protective flap which makes it a pain in the ass to zip up. This is not a quality zipper assembly and unfortunately it ruins the whole bag. I cannot rely that the bag will always zip up. If a better zipper assembly was put on this backpack I would give it 5 stars.

It is great! My boyfriend loved his new bag. It has lots of pockets and "strange" functions which are exactly what he likes. Not at all an ordinary backpack.

I bought this backpack for a field trip to Yellowstone with my daughter. It had sufficient space to carry the needed items and my water bladder. It fit me well and it worked great. I do have two things that I wish were different though. 1- The rain slip cover is nice and very convenient, however, it would be nice if it had two velcro straps or something that you could tie it to the shoulder straps with! It rained ALL day one of the days we were out and the rain cover (even though it was on) would slip down and allow rain to soak through the pack and fill up the inside. I had about an inch of water in the bottom of the bag by the end of the day. 2- The belt around the waist is nice, but I feel it needs to be thicker. It is about a 1 inch wide strap with buckles of the same size. I have a Marmot (hip style backpack) that has a 3 inch wide belt and buckles that I like LOTS more. I wish this one had the same because it seems to be much easier to buckle than the 1 inch.

It's a okay pack. I feel it should be a 15 dollar pack instead of 39.99, but because it has Bear Grylls name on it the price goes up. It looks to be a good tourist pack.

Very good back pack ! Fits back well extremely comfortable , roomy for this size pack . My only complaints are that the bag material I would prefer to be somewhat thicker which in turn did not help with pack zipper which tended to get stuck frequently during a recent trip to New Zealand. I would give the pack 8/ 10 it needs improvement on bag material And zipper function otherwise a great bag!
