This was the best money I think I've ever spent. I bought it for my 10 week old kitten who is now 22 weeks old. It's been such a delight seeing her jump, pounce, tackle and play with this toy. I chose to put it on a tv tray and screws right on the edge. So easy. Made really well that I'm surprised it could take so much usage. My cat can barely resist walking past it without jumping to tackle it even now. Sometimes I have to put it up because she doesn't know when to stop. Great to keep kittens or curious cats who like to play busy and expend some if that endless energy.

Battery life on it is so so it takes to triple A batteries and last at least a month on that it's kind of cheaply made and the noise is kind of loud my cat is more intrigued by the noise than it is by the actual toy which makes it hard for her to enjoy the toy because she's too worried about the noise that it makes if you find a good spot to secure it to it secures pretty well but it is very unstable if you bump into it or the cat plays with it a little too hard it will fall off the counter or wherever you have it but my cat is a little skittish so other cats might not have these problems all in all I do think it is a very good idea it just needs a little more work for it to be considered a great toy but for the price that it is it's definitely worth it

My cats loved it at first, the did tear the feathers out really fast. Replaced it and now have to push the button. They will play with it but not their absolute fav.

This is such a stupid toy . You have to push the button to make it work everything. It will not operate unless you push the button. And all it does is the ball on the string goes up and down when YOU PUSH THE BUTTON. Not on its own

I was hoping my cats would love this. I have 2 cats and 1 in particular is very playful and loves feather toys.I got this on a lightning deal and had higher hopes for it even if it did arrive late. In no way is this worth $15, $20 or $25. I'd say maybe $8, $10 WITH batteries. It's very light weight and made of cheap plastic. The string that holds the 2 toys that came with is just flat string there is no elasticity so there's no bounce. And it's very short so the areas in which you can mount it are limiting. This came with a round boring Gray ball and a feather toy that can be screwed on. It also came equipped with a tiny Phillips head screwdriver but you will have to produce the 2 AAA batteries as those are not part of your package. My cat seemed excited, just as he was getting into it the machine turned off. So I wandered over, turned it back on and it caught his interest until it turned off again. He's now in the other room, completely does not even care about his new toy and is instead throwing around a feather toy that's not attached to anything, cost under $5 and doesn't require batteries.I don't think this is going to be sticking around.

Awesome cat toy, great that you can place it where you want and the cats can play with it even when you aren’t there. I’ve only had it up for maybe a month or so now but so far so good. I clipped it on their cat tree so it hangs over and teases them with the feather.I think it starts on its own when the cats pull at it, automatic start and shut off.. but my cats don’t use it unless I press the start button, hopefully they’ll start playing with it even when it’s not moving to get it started but for now I press the button and walk away and they love it . It’s a good investment for your kitty…

I only gave this three stars because my cats love this toy.. but it's not great.. it could have been done so much better.. it shuts off and doesn't have any sort of restart other than a human physically pushing the button which renders it useless when I'm not home... unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this toy
