Gorgeous. True Teal color. So soft. Very well made, fit my king size pillow perfectly. Very happy with purchase. It appears to be German Shepherd approved also. Put it on bed, with comforter covering it. Went back in bedroom to put laundry away and found my German Shepherd had uncovered it and was snoozing on it. Luckily I have two, so I won’t have to fight her for it. She loves to be comfortable and apparently loves Teal, what can I say. It must feel good on her face too. I love that it has a zipper closure to keep pillow inside the case. Update: I have short hair and used to wake up looking like Einstein, my hair was all over the place. Now I wake up and I look like a girl, my hair is shinier and easier to manage. I don’t know if my hair is shinier than before, but with the Einstein look it was hard to tell. I love that the pillow case stays cool. I don’t like being hot when I sleep. That’s probably why my dog likes it, if you have a Shepherd you know heat is not their friend. They are cool weather dogs.

In the past I have purchased a few "satin" pillowcases thinking that they were about the same as the higher priced SILK. If I had only known how exceptional real Silk was to sleep on. My hair is naturally curly and responds to a smooth pillowcase. My curls were less frizzy after sleeping on SILK. This pillowcase is really a game changer for me. I will donate all of my old satin pillowcases and purchase only the Asmork Art SILK pillowcases from now on. Yes, it is that good! I can't believe how soft and smooth it feels on my face. I fell to sleep with a smile on my face. Sooooo nice. It was neither to hot or too cool. The workmanship is very good and I like the hidden zipper which keeps my pillow completely encased. My choice was the teal and it is oh so pretty. I have added this pillowcase to my Amazon Gift List too. I will never, ever go back to cotton or satin. SIlk is the way to feel truly pampered.

I won't get into the "Is it REAL silk" argument because it's just too nice to even cut a fragment off the overlock-stitched edges of the fabric in the seams, but it feels real to me. I'm old enough that silk was once a fairly common fabric that every seamstress in the world absolutely HATED working with, but every woman LOVED to wear! This pillowcase has a nice weight to it, seems pretty sturdy, and is the black color I ordered. I ordered black because I like to dye my hair crazy rainbow colors AND because I know I don't always get ALL of the mascara off before I fall asleep. Nobody wants STAINED silk pillowcases! And then there are my incredibly indulged dogs, who adore any kind of soft, luxurious surface.

These are a little pricy for just one but are totally worth it! I was so happy with my purchase I got 3 more. They definitely help to reduce hair frizziness!! After using these for about 3 months now, I don’t know if it is just me but I swear the skin on my face feels softer too.BEWARE: DO WASH THESE SEPARATE!!! I thought I could hand wash all of mine at the same time and the green bled all over the champagne color one so now I have a splotchy one. But it does NOT affect its effectiveness.... just kind of a heads up for everyone when they are taking care of theirs.

The media could not be loaded. Any time you have a supposedly silk item at a very inexpensive price, inevitably the quality or purity is questioned. I read SOOOOOO many reviews of similar pillowcases before finally settling on this one, often winding up very confused whether it was actually silk or not with reviews claiming both ways, I knew I was going to provide a solid answer for anyone else considering this particular pillowcase, regardless of the results. FORTUNATELY, after cutting off a small piece of fabric from the inside seam next to the zipper, placing it on a plate made of china, & putting a mini flame throwing lighter to it, you can see for yourselves the results!!! This video is actually the 3rd flame put to it because it also shows me turning the flame to the thread I pulled out & how quickly it melts away. There is a black mark on the silk from being exposed to fire for roughly 28 seconds prior to the recording starting (from previous 2), but it didn’t burn or melt whatsoever, as you can easily see from the still photos from before any flame & before this video was recorded. I tried to document it as thoroughly as possible, but forgot to take a picture at the end of this video as I was more focused on recording the process, but didn’t realize only 1 video can be posted. So I chose the last since it demonstrates well the difference between the 2 materials when the flame hits. I got a king size case, & the quality is excellent, ESPECIALLY considering it’s not even the minimal 16 mm, but higher quality/thickness for a ridiculously low price! Do not fear your decision~I cannot fathom there is a better option given quality & price, at least as far as the purple option is concerned, & you have all the PROOF you need right here. I have not had an issue with products staining my case either, but have tried to ensure at least 30 min passed before laying on it. I hand washed per instructions when it arrived, but I hate hand washing & tend to machine wash everything, even wool & cashmere, I just use the most delicate setting, correct temp, & either “air dry” in the dryer or actually lay out to air dry if I have the space. No issues w seams so far, but wouldn’t mind making a minor alteration myself if required given the phenomenal quality & half the price of others similar but will update if that changes. I’ve had it a little over 3 weeks at this point & ready to buy another!!

I recently got new pillows and decided to get pillowcases as well. I had been wanting to try a silk pillowcase for awhile because of the skin and hair benefits I had read about. I saw that the name brand Slip was selling pillowcases with the same grade of silk for $89+. I thought that was ridiculous so I decided to try these instead. I got two of these pillowcases for less than the price of one name brand Slip pillowcase. I am really happy with my purchase. These pillowcases are soft and cooling. I haven’t had any creases on my face when I wake up in the morning. I really like that they have a zippered enclosure as well. They fit my queen pillows perfectly. My husband also likes his pillowcase so that is a big win for me. I bought the color rose taupe and feel like it is true to the pictures.
