I am usually a #23 Iope cushion but with all the time indoors this has been too dark. With their change in formula and price point I decided to explore other brands.In the picture, the top is Iope #23 while the bottom is this foundation in light. In the picture it looks rosy but on my rosy cheeks it looks beige/yellow. It did have much better coverage than the Iope, ever after layering up the cushion coverage.Knowing I can always adjust darker with mixing if necessary from a light base I got the "light". But WOW is this dark and beige for a light product out of a market that has very light skin tones in general. Straight out of the bottle next to my face I could tell it was a bad choice. But then on bare skin it was not only dark but very beige/yellow. And then it went darker and slightly orange in seconds.To be honest I oxidize makeup a lot. So this wasn't a fair test.Washed up, moisturized, and tried again with primer. Even over my regular primer (pretty resilent) the oxidation was evident. Perhaps it really needs to be used with ONLY their primers?On the up side the coverage is great and it went on smoothly. Had a nice and creamy, almost velvety, texture. Had a little of an old lady sort of makeup smell that I have noticed in another Korean product (specfically Kahi wrinkle bounce balm) but not overly unplesant, sort of nostalgic. But the pump was great and didn't dispense too much.Might pass it along to a friend who is more in this tone range or use it as bronzer/contour. But this is NOT a light shade. More medium beige.

Best makeup ever! If you order the medium it will go on a little yellowish, but blend it well and it is the perfect makeup. I love it. It is definitely my new go to makeup forever. I ordered the fair for my older sister, but she hasn’t told me yet how she likes it. Not drying at all.

For this price there’s definitely a lot better quality foundations. You can get out there. This one I found to be on the yellow we side and I ordered the correct color for me. Also, I didn’t like the consistency on my face. You’re better off sticking with a drugstore foundation.

This comes in an outer product box. It is made in Korea. Ingredients are listed on the box.It comes in a nice thick frosted glass jar. It has a matte champagne gold colored lid. There is a nice pump on it.I got the shade “Light.” It is a tad too dark for my fair skin, but I’m able to make it work. It also has a slight yellow undertone to it, which I notice on my neutral leaning slightly cool skin, but again, I’m able to make it work.Claims to be a long-wearing matte foundation that blurs pores, lines and wrinkles, offering flawless makeup. Even though it claims to be long-wearing matte foundation, it claims to be lightweight. It also claims to hydrate with moisturizing ingredients.I don’t usually go for matte foundations, but with this one claiming to be hydrating I figured I’d give it a try. It’s a thick consistency. It blends out easily enough, but is a little more work than something with a thinner consistency. It is full coverage. It looks nice and smooth, but can cling to dry areas. I found if I do the thinnest layer possible in any areas I’m more dry in, then it doesn’t cling and I still get good coverage. With this you really don’t need more than a thin layer.My only problem with this…it transfers BIG time! It stays kind of wet feeling. It doesn’t “dry down to an even smooth matte finish” like it claims. It doesn’t dry down completely at all. Usually, the only good thing I find with matte foundations is that they dry down on their own and I don’t need to powder them at all. But, with this one, it doesn’t dry down. If you powder it, it’s easy for it to look thick and cakey on the skin. Without powder, it’s smooth and has a kind of natural finish - not matte, not dewy. With powder, it definitely goes more matte. But, I need to be very careful to only apply a small amount or it starts looking thick and cakey. But, the problem is, that small amount doesn’t seem to be enough to get it to not transfer at all. It will still transfer pretty easily, just not as easily as without powder.Overall, I like this, but I don’t love it. It has a nice finish without powder but I can’t deal with the constant transfer. I barely touch my face and I get foundation on my hands. You touch anything else - tissue, hug someone, etc. - it’s going to transfer. With a small amount of powder, it doesn’t transfer so easily, but will transfer so you don’t want to touch the face too much (like rub against it). It looks really nice without powder and even with powder as long as it’s not too much. But, I don’t like the transfer at all. So, I give it 3 stars. Great coverage, nice finish, but doesn’t dry down like it claims and transfers pretty badly!

This foundation has great coverage, but isn’t transfer-proof. I blew my nose and it came completely off. Just touching a tissue to my face takes the foundation off. So no blotting up oil throughout the day. Definitely need to layer a sticky base primer underneath to hold it in place. The coverage is full, but a natural full. I was able to easily cover up a bad sunburn on my forehead with just one layer. It also conceals acne really well. I do want to note that this formula is very matte and has a tendency to cling to dry patches. Because of my burn, I had a lot of dryness being highlighted by this foundation. Nothing horrible, but a little crusty. I ordered the shade “#1 Light”, which is a true light foundation with a yellow base. I was able to make it work with the help of some bronzer, but it is a couple shades too light for me at the moment. It will be great for my skin tone in the winter/spring. Overall, I love the coverage and am willing to overlook some of the other drawbacks when I’m having a bad skin day and really just need to cover things up.
