It located the problem to get Neighbors gas appliances working
I haven't been able to verify the accuracy of this meter yet but my neighbor said the readings I gave him the Utility Co. worker's meter had the same readings. Simple to operate.New neighbor bought a house that had been vacant for a while and had furnace problems. After they got the gas turned on I found the control board was bad and replaced it and told them it wasn't putting out heat like it should they wanted to see if it would change after running for a while. A few days later they called, the furnace wasn't working again. Since they had heat they had the water turned on and started the gas water heater I found that the furnace wouldn't start if the water heater was firing told them it looks to be gas supply problem, they wanted to see if it would work itself out. I started looking for a manometer found this one and it was delivered the next day(Prime). Few days later they said furnace wasn't working even after turning water heater off. Checking with this meter showed 5WC (nothing running) and 0.4WC if anything was, told them to call the Utility Co.. A few days later they found when the meter was installed they left the transport plug in it restricting the gas supply???They later told me they were getting second opinions, First Co. wanted $1000 for the control board and 15min work that cost me under $200 retail with over night shipping. Second said they needed a new furnace for $8000 if no other problems. 6-7 years ago a furnace that size would have cost me $300(upper brand name $600) wholesale and I could've replace it in 1 day myself. They didn't want to call the Utility Co. afraid of how many thousands they were going to charge if the problem was in their house.I guess I'm in the wrong trade I could handle $3000+ an hour for service or even just $7000+ a day for installation considering last I new it was just $75 a year for license & insurance in HVAC.

Very easy to use
This manometer is very well made, feels great in the hand (not slippery) and the buttons are very responsive and well positioned. The backlight makes it easy to read and stays lit for several seconds after turning it on. I was able to read gas pressure on my furnace quickly and easily. I am very happy with this instrument and it works well! The only thing I would change is the hoses are that come with it are very short, like a foot long. It could use a 3 or 4 foot long hose so you could set it on the floor or stand up with it to read it. Other than that, all good!

No need to hire a professional.
Seems well made, and its easy to use. Controls and settings are relatively easy to figure out. The instruction manual is well written. I used this manometer to calibrate a natural gas furnace installation. After getting a few quotes from professional installers, I was ready to vomit. I saved about $20k doing it myself. It's not rocket science, this little tool pays for itself after first use. My low pressure gas circuit was a bit high. I was able to use the Autel to dial it down within spec.

Works
This did just what I needed it for. I had to ask a relative who works in HVAC some questions on how to read it, but once I did that, it worked like a charm Good buy for the money.

Cheap price, and works as such
Device would not hold 0 very long, would easily drift. Control functions not very intuitive. Probably fine for ballpark purposes but not a quality tool. I returned it, wasn't expecting great quality but it was less than desired.
