Love both the books . Short and funny stories. Mom reads for an hour or more, while we visit. Mom would read 10 or more books a week, before getting dementia. Sad one day we noticed she stopped reading. Then I found your books. Mom is reading again. Thank you so much. Wonderful distraction for her. Helps fill long days as disease progress. Taking one day at a time. Job well done to the writer. The love of reading has not been forgotten.

My mom is in her 90’s. She can’t remember the storyline in books anymore. These short stories have given her pleasure!

I was expecting funny stories like the short ones in Reader's Digest, these stories barely even made a smile happen. The print was easy to read.

My mother has Alzheimer’s disease, and I thought this would be good for her based on the description, but she found it to be quite juvenile. She used to love to read, and I really like that the words were big. She did appreciate the size of the words though.

It was easy for him to see to read, however, it was not up to par for content, my dad said, "It was too simple for maybe a very very old person" lol he is 92.

Yes, the font is larger than regular book font, but not as large as other "large print" books we've purchased for our father; he is unable to read this book. While the font IS larger print than regular books, it is not large enough for his needs, which was THE driving factor in our purchase. Since font size impacts the spacing between lines, line spacing is also a fail for this book; the lines are too close together to easily finger-track. That said, the stories are short, succinct, and entertaining ... however, if font size/line-spacing is important in your decision-making, you may want to look further.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my mother. She loved it!

Nice but it isn’t stories just single page anecdotes.Will pass along, was looking for actual short stories of a few pages each for bedtime.

I bought it for the care home residents and it does a great job in entertaining them. Large print and good size of the book itself - just right for the elderly and frail. Good selection of the stories too.

Patronizing and completely not funny. Do not buy this book! I bought it for my mother, but would NEVER give it to her.

It was very american with the humour, which i thought was not funny at all and I purchased it to give my dad a laugh at christmas, but It will be used to light a fire-sorry
