Fun new bands and lids!
Haven't used them yet but they look great. The seals are sound and the bands sturdy. Should be great!

Nice canning lids
Using these on my Pickles. So far every jar has sealed. They βpingβ very loudly as these lids are thicker than regular ones.

Defective product
These lids do not seal. I used 5 of them yesterday only 2 sealed, then not a tight seal. Thank goodness I had found Ball lids and could go thru the process again and each one sealed so I did not lose my tomatoes. I really feel you should replace my order with either Ball or Kerr products, which I would have ordered to begin with if you had shown that you had them available. Did not do a survey because I could not give them a low enough rating correction I could not submit without the survey

I got black and won't go back
I ordered three dozen of the black flats. I was a bit hesitant at first because I had never bought black flats before. I guess the only real difference is just the color. The black ones do look nice though. All three dozen sealed perfectly. I will purchase this product again in the future as soon as they get more in stock.

Lids
I'm revising my revised review. Original revision is in double asterisks. Far as I can tell the seals do hold for canning however, the lids are very soft and bend very easily which makes them not "reusable" for canning. I used extra care taking it off and the edge still bent. It is easily "reshaped" back but it is definitely not a sturdy lid that can handle removal after being used for canning. They did seal without issue, and has held it's seal, but, whether or not it can be used again is dependent on if the lid didn't get bent up to badly when being removed. The metal is very soft. I like that they don't rust but the soft aluminum isn't really ideal. If it was a more sturdy design these lids would be great. I'm giving it 3 stars because they bend easily. **I'm revising my review on these lids. So far I've used some of them on jelly which was water bathed, green beans with was pressure cooked, peaches that were water bathed, and squash that was pressure cooked. They all sealed with no issues. However, when I took a lid off of a canned item the lid did bend in spite of my efforts. I was very gentle about removing the lid. The edge did go back into place with some coaxing and I did reuse it. So far the reused lid is still sealed. I feel I can't give a complete review till some time passes and I can see how the seal holds up and if I can use them again without any lose of seal integrity. So far they seem fine. I've been using a few on each batch of canned items I do. I suspect the person that did potatoes and had the lids explode off possibly tightened them down to tight or filled their jars to full or both. I've been using the tattler lid method where you put your finger on the lid and lightly hold, then tighten the ring till the jar spins, and so far it appears to be working. I plan on purchasing more if they continue to do well and the seals hold.** My original review is in parenthesis. (I haven't had the chance to use these yet. For the price they appear well made. They're not thin. I ordered 2 packs of these and one of the lids didn't have the seal all the way around it. So I'm down one lid.) My opinion on them being reusable...I'm at a 50-50 right now because they do bend very easily when pulling them off.
