Civil PE Practice Exam: CBT Transportation Depth

Bought this book as study material for the Civil Transportation PE exam but quickly found out this book uses references other than the NCEES handbook to answer the questions. The book had 40 questions and less than half of the questions you were able to solve with NCEES references or knowledge based. More than half of the questions needed to reference things like the MUTCD or AASHTO for equations (equations that are not in the NCEES reference manual). Luckily this book wasn't expensive but I cant recommend as good study material.

Very well written book with great practice problems that were similar to the actual test. The solutions are explained well and tell you which reference was used to solve the problem. One of the best books I used for transportation depth problems.I used this and the other Path to PE Services books, and passed on the 1st try. Highly recommended.

Solid depth exam with a good variety of problems. The questions use the latest references as of 2022 and are in the new CBT format. If you have any questions about the exam they are very responsive and helpful.

About 5 or 6 problems from this exam were almost identical to what I saw on the actual test. Highly recommend. I passed too!

Nice to see new exams in the new CBT style. The solutions use the NCEES reference manual.
