Better comfort, OK button and BT controller included make this one a good choice.I have used a few different VR headsets now. All of them have had at least one deal breaking problem. Often comfort plays a huge role. Many headsets rest uncomfortably on my nose. This one has a more outward shaped face pad to help keep it off of my nose. I can actually wear this one for longer periods of time. The straps are easy to adjust with simple velcro. There is a small amount of light infiltration from the sides. You could tape the slits if you use these in full light situations a lot.Optics are easy to adjust using the knobs on the side and dial on the top. I found the best position most of the time to be eyes full width, lenses at their closes point.This headset just barely fits my LG V10 which is at the top of its size rating. My iPhone 6S+ fits easily.The included BT controller is adequate for many things like fast forwarding through videos and actions in games. I noticed that many functions weren't assigned the way I would like in many apps. This is probably a lack of standard in button configuration or lack thereof in apps. It works good enough for basic functions in most controller capable games/apps.Unlike many VR headsets, this one does have a built-in OK button on the headset itself. This can be quite important in most cardboard based apps. On other headsets, I have had to use a large magnet outside the headset, which doesn't often work that well.Overall, this is the most comfortable and feature packed headset I have tried. Which comfort level isn't 100%, it is still better than the others I own.

The remote is a little bit hard to deal with. But, if you work with the remote and keep reading the instructions, you will be able to work the remote. The VR is awesome! I wish the apps would be better and the programs would work! Some do and some do not! Thank goodness for reviews that people write on Amazon and the apps. Then you will not waste your time downloading them and then they will not work! The headset works well with most phones. Make sure that the phone is not to big and make sure that you look at the dimensions of the VR and your phone then measure it! Mine was almost too big but, it works! You can adjust the VR to make sure your phone will work in the headset! You need to full around with the buttons to see what they do. The two side ones adjust your eyes. The bottom one takes you back to the home screen! The top one you can get the Vr closer to your eyes! I'm so happy I bought this headset. I'm very happy with it

This is my first VR headset. I used this with my iPhone 6 and it worked great. So far I used with Ricoh Theta app, Google street view, YouTube, Google Cardboard, and USA today VR. All of them worked. Except USA Today VR app itself has some problems. It crashes a lot and the resolution is not good enough for VR viewing. It is not the problem with the ETVR VR headset. Google street view and Cardboard needed the QR code on the manual. I like the pupil distance and focus adjustment. I use reading glasses at +3.00 diopters. The focus adjustment was just about strong enough for me to see clearly without glasses.I bought the set with a Bluetooth remote but I realized that there is not much use for the remote. I paired it with my iPhone and found that I can control YouTube video with it: X for volume up, A for volume down, B for mute, Select for pause/play, Esc for quitting YouTube. But I found it rather difficult to control blindly with my headset on. But the OK button on the bottom of the headset is very useful for controlling YouTube videos. I can pause/play, and start at certain point of the current video or go to the next/previous video.Overall I am satisfied with the purchase, but not sure if I would use the remote controller.

Got 2 for grandsons. They were amazed. It was their favorite gift and that included a huge trampoline. I tried them out with an app that put you in a hang glider. Amazing! You had the visual sensation of actually being in the air (and crash landing). Turn your head and the scene changed. Turn your head and tilt your body and you fly in a different direction, at a different angle. Adjusting the eye pieces so that the width and clarity were right was easy. I was afraid that since I couldn't afford the more expensive ones that these might not have good optics, etc., but they were great.

Mine had a chip out of the lens, right in the middle of the view, so I returned it, no problems. It fit well around the head and fit my iPhone 7+ when you take the case off. I shopped around a lot and ended up with this one, and I'll probably re-order it again when their seems to be some good apps. Now a lot of the apps just want Google Cardboard and this is compatible some of the time.The remote doesn't seem to work with any apps (or I just don't know how to link it up) and the buttons would just exit you from the game. However, I know other people with remotes that don't work too so maybe it's just the hardware getting ahead of the software.If you are a techy, just get this one. If you are on the fence, look through the app store to see what apps you want first and then buy a VR headset - if you don't find anything compelling, just wait 6 months. There's bound to be more than just 3D shooters and roller coasters.

Got this set so the wife and I could try two different sets as we have two different phones. It has the same issues as the other set listed below.First time using something like this but it seems fun. I am not impressed with the remote but that's probably user issues and I need to learn how to operate it. My main problem is I am not able to put it over my glasses so the videos are slightly blurry and the adjustment built in isn't enough to fix that. I may need to go to contacts or find a set that is a little wider in the padding area.

I really liked this VR Headset. I've tried it with 3 phones so far, the Huawei Honor 8, iPhone 5s and the Blackberry Z10. They all worked fine, just a little adjustment in the placement of the phone allowed for a great viewing experience.The headset is very comfortable to wear. I have worn it for hours on end and there was little to no strain on my face. The velcro strap on the top is very easy to adjust as well.It is also easy to set up and use. First, you need to adjust the velcro strap on the top and possibly the other straps to fit your head. Next, open up the headset and insert your phone with the VR set up and ready to go. Then, just close the headset, put it on, and you're ready to go! As for the controller, it's just how you would normally connect Bluetooth devices. If you have any questions or problems, the headset also comes with an easy to read instruction booklet.When using it you can adjust the distance and focus of the viewing of your phone. If it doesn't look right, you might not have the right settings on for your video. The apps I use have specific settings for your phone and headset type which allow for a great experience.This is really a good VR headset compared to other ones. I have tried Google Cardboard related products and they really can't compare with the comfortableness and flexibility in settings that these have. The controller is also great for playing games. In conclusion, if you are looking for a decent VR experience using your phone, this is perfect for you.

This is a very good VR for the price. This might not be extremely realistic but for the price it's awesome. I've also noticed that the choice of the phone also affects how realistic it looks. It's really fun just sitting on the sofa and using the roller coaster apps. And it also comes with a remote so I was able to fly a plane using this VR and it was very fun. Overall, I'm very happy I got this VR.

It's a good item, not great, but good. Overall can't complain, it's pretty cool to have something of this caliber for a reasonable price.Four reasons I still give this product a 4/5:1. Price is excellent for the product (if you want a better one, pitch in another 20-30$)2. You still get the opportunity to view in VR3. It comes with a remote4. Decent material used - phone casing seems fragile, but again you get the most out of it from the price.

Beware it does not fit with any cellphone. My doogee s60 for example, the cap doesn't close so I need to use my hands to keep it semi-closed.It is well for the price, it does the job. However you cannot expect to have the same immersion than a professional VR like HTC Vibe or Oculus, which of course is lot more expensive.

Great product, arrived complete and well packaged. After following technology over the years this takes things to a new level. If you are looking to view things with a new prospective then this is for you. Comfortable and well made... Have fun.
