Simply Organic, Seasoning Mix Southwest Taco, 1.13 Oz

My favorite taco mix! I used to but it at ukrops. now I buy it off of here.

I purchased this to make some tacos, but it will not purchase again. Flavor was okay but the quality of the seal on the packaging or the manner in which it was shipped made it smell up the shipment envelope.

I took my leftover Costco rotisserie chicken and tossed it into the seasoning mix once the water was simmering. After the chicken was warmed through (6 minutes?), I served as tacos. An EZ breezy meal for my picky eaters! The flavor is on point!

The more I try these Simply Organic spices and blends, the more I like them. I'm gradually switching out almost all my herbs and spices to Simply Organic due to the quality, price, and taste.This taco seasoning is no different. It's better than any of the ones I get in the supermarket -- just more robust, a tad spicier but not overwhelming in that respect, and the price is comparable. AND it has NO MSG!I use it with ground beef, yes, but also with chicken and pork. I dice the raw chicken into 1/2" cubes and brown in a skillet, then just follow the recipe on the package for beef and voila! I have chicken tacos. I do the same with boneless pork loin chops -- dice, brown, then do the taco seasoning thing. I also use the seasoned meat as filling for enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos. It's the flavor that matters, and the flavor this adds is excellent.I now have this on Subscribe and Save -- I use it that much. Great find! HIghly recommended!

Grew up with the Ortega, El Paso, type taco seasoning, tried this one and the family and I agree, hands down better flavor. Has a tiny but of a kick, but flavor wise is great, plus the ingredients are way better. Good with chicken or ground beef, might try it with tofu.
