Tamper for Blendtec fits Vented Gripper Lid Hole Commercial Food Grade BPA-Free

This tool is great .I no longer regret buying my blandtec.

One thing I always liked about Vitamix blenders was their tamper as there are times when the Blendtec cavitates and you have to add liquid to ease the blending when you don't really want to. This tamper is a perfect accessory to fill that role. The first thing I checked was how close the tamper gets to the spinning blades and I'm happy to say it gets to about 1.5 cm away which is just right IMO, not too close and not too far. Secondly I wanted to make sure no fluids were tossed up and out of the hole in the lid. So far so good on that one though hot liquids might be more of an issue there. Overall very happy with this tamper and recommend it for any Blendtec owner.

I made nicecream using the tamper and once I figured out that the white end is the handle, completely self evident once you switch it end for end, it worked perfectly in getting the frozen fruit down into the blade.I also had to buy the cover that the tamp fits but it was worth it.

I was expecting this to be a miracle presser to get my blendtec to finally blend that Iphone. Did not work that well. It works a little bit and helps but if you don't have enough liquid in your shake this device won't help much. Liquid is the key seems like nothing can circumvent that.

Got this for when I make nut butters. It’s too short. Also, the spoon-like notch on the side is not really useful for anything, and makes the stick less useful for pushing stuff around in the blender.
