I had to say "See you later" to my husband of 53 years and needed a final resting place for him. I ordered this urn and I couldn't be more pleased. The final product was exactly as described and is so handsome, just like my honey. The wood is sturdy and the craftmanship was very good. When my Mom recently passed we went to the funeral home to make the arrangements for her. We particularly liked one of their Urns but the price was more than our budget would allow. When we returned home I decided to see what Amazon offered. I found this Urn. When I brought it to the funeral director, his comment was, “just like ours!” We went to a Trophy Shop and had a plate engraved to apply to the Urn and it really is amazingly beautiful.

We needed a fairly inexpensive and attractive container for cremated remains. This fits the bill as it is sturdy and well made.

First, condolences if you are having to buy an urn. Not an easy time.I was lost in the on-line web of urns at the worst possible time. As a collector of wooden boxes, my standards were high and I almost didn't order on line, wanting to check the quality in person. It was also appalling to see the usery in pricing on many sites. Honestly! Taking advantage of people in their grief - not ok.I'm so glad I chose to order this one. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. We even received compliments on how well it honored my dear husband.The box seals with 6 screws but you'll need two sizes of phillips head screwdrivers. We used an eyeglass repair kit screwdriver for the smaller ones so they wouldn't get stripped.
