GREAT Purchase!!
We have a Jayco trailer with a glorified shoebox for a fridge. I did some research and found this as an option. We shop at Costco and on trips, like to stop in to get our supplies there when possible. This cooler will hold 2 gallons of Costco milk side by side, guessing it would hold up to 6 gallons at one time!We ran this off our Jackery 500 which will handle this cooler for about 9-10 hours, the Jackery showed it was normally pulling about 56-58w. But I did find that the Twelseavan Solar Panel 120w would not only run this cooler, but charged the Jackery on top of it.This cooler was good enough that even after being unplugged for 7 hours inside our trailer, (dry camping and went on a day trip, so packed up valuables), it was about 60-65 with partial sun, our burger patties were still frozen that night when I pulled them out to cook them.As others stated, there is a bit of condensation that happens inside this cooler, that is the only complaint I had with it after our first weekend trip out with it. It is also rather loud, so we unplugged it at night so we could sleep, it isn't a nice fan hum, it is more of a high speed computer fan whine.Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add extra cooler space to their setup!

Love it!
We bought this product to travel back and forth from Northern Washington to Southern California without having to refill our Ice-chest with ice at every stop. This Car Fridge has worked like a gem. Even though We have only used it for a month we have been completely satisfied. No overheating of the fan was ever noticed. It sits in the back of our suburban and plugs in to the outlet. We take care of unplugging it overnight while the weather was cool and no need for refrigeration since we were not opening it throughout the night. Everything stayed cold. Traveling back and forth it was in constant use for a week at a time. No problems! The only thing I was a bit disapointed about was that we had to purchase the car adaptor to enable us to plug it in the outlet separatly from the car fridge. All in all a good purchase and we would reccomend it to any other travelers. We beleive if you take good care of it, use it smartly ...it will last a long time.

Save your money for a real compressor frig/frzr...
I made a mistake and bought this a few months ago. I am sure glad I didn't pay the current price, which is almost double what I paid. At $80 it was still way overpriced. Seeing the current price, I am glad I am didn't throw away $150. It is plain junk. I needed a something to supplement my RV frig as we always seem to run out of room. I used it a couple of times in my RV while camping and now it doesn't cool anymore. When it did, it didn't get below 45 degrees. I couldn't keep true perishables in it, only some drinks and things I didn't have to worry about spoiling. The temp wouldn't even get to 45 if the ambient temp was over 80 degrees. I also had to keep it outside or in the bathroom shower to keep from hearing the jet engine fan. Additionally, it uses way too much power. Don't try running this off 12 volt without the engine running for long (it will drain your batteries fast), or if you don't have a AC hookup. Any by the way, you will need a DC converter which isn't included if you want to run off AC. Bottom line is you can now get a true compressor driven frig/frzr for about $100 more. These can get down to 0 degrees even in 100 degree weather and they use a lot less power. This 'thermoelectric' cooler was a waste of time and money!

Works as Advertised
Ok first the bad news. There is no adapter for when inside the home, you have to buy that seperately. But for in the car and keeping things cool on a long road trip it works great. Kept all of our frozen stuff nice and cold. It's durable had to take it up and down stairs. The cup holders are inside the cooler you have to open the lids to use them. The handle pulls up so even tall guys can pull it with the wheels. Recommend it for any family on a road trip.

Thermoelectric Cooler
The Wagan EL6244 Blue 46 Quart 12V Thermoelectric Cooler/Warmer Car Fridge is a great buy for the money! As all 12/V thermoelectric coolers, the outside temperature has a direct impact on how cool the inside becomes. If you set it in the sun, or a warm area, the cool inside will be about 10 degrees (or 15 at best) than the outside temp. While traveling, and is plugged in to your 12V outlet, and your air conditioning is on in your vehicle, you will be pleasantly surprised at how cool your beverages are kept. It does not replace a refrigerator for cold, however, so I wouldn't keep perishable items for lengthy times in it. I would not call it light weight and if you are going to lift it with some comfort, lift it empty. Once loaded, it is quite heavy. Check the empty weight in the description. I would recommend this item again.

Massive capacity
It carries a lot. We took a week's worth of food on a road trip and it worked well.Update:. After nearly 4 years of regular use it quit working. It was a great cooler and we will order a new one exactly like we had
