Park ToolTNS-4 Threadless Tubed Nut Setter for 1" and 1-1/8" Forks

Mutilating and banging on one of the most expensive parts if a bike is worrying to say the least. I will say the park tool adapter made this simple and care free.Park tool as a company is unique as you can look up videos and watch trained mechanics used the tool before you commit.That being said, it lived up to expectations, used it on a tapered fork, and was very happy with the results.

Ordered yesterday delivered this afternoon. Perfect. Used it today and I have zero experience working on bicycles. Installed a nut easily. One tool you’re going to have to buy once.

Super easy to use and not mess up install

When it comes to tools I am a firm believer of buying the right one the first time. No I’m not a bike mechanic so this isn’t some thing I’ll be using very often but considering it helps install some thing that’s related to my safety I figured why not get the right tool. I installed a brand new fork for the first time in my life and this tool worked exactly as intended and the way it’s designed there is absolutely no way to mess it up. The materials that I used to make this tool and how it was designed is flawless. However that does come at a price it’s not the cheapest thing in the world and a mountain bike fork change at my local bike shop is the same price as this tool, so to me not a bad trade off. If you’re even hesitating of getting this tool and you’re just starting to tweak your bike, I really wouldn’t it’s the right tool for the job, but you got to pay to play.

good tough and durable for installing bicycle star nuts!

I don’t need this often but when I do it’s easily worth every penny. Another quality Park Tool product.

Park tools certainly aren't the cheapest but they do provide excellent products. You don't often have to install a star nut but when you do, having the right tool makes your life easier. This tool fits over the steerer and it's literally impossible to set the nut crookedly. One or two whacks with a hammer and that nut is set perfectly and at the right depth. I recently installed three new forks on a few of my bikes and this made a semi-tough job a piece of cake.

Simple to use and executes perfectly to push star nut down to correct depth and level.

Es ist sicherlich ein Werkzeug, was der Hobbybastler wie ich selten braucht, aber da ich mir lieber ordentliches Werkzeug besorge, als mit Bastellösungen herumzuexperimentieren, kam dieser Kralleneinschläger dazu.Er funktioniert tadellos (zweimal verwendet), "überraschenderweise" deutlich besser mit einem richtigen Hammer statt einem Gummihammer :D und wirkt so, als könnte man ihn nicht aus Versehen kaputt machen. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich noch kein Vergleichsprodukt oder andere Methoden ausprobiert hab, aber das werde ich (und die Verwandtschaft/Bekanntenkreis) auch nicht mehr müssen. Insofern kann ich nicht sagen, ob das jetzt besser oder schlechter funktioniert... es funktioniert einfach :).
