Great and easy to follow
Love the content, easy to understand and follow, great tips.

Not inspiring.
I'm afraid all I took away from this was "Eat sensibly, drink plenty, and skip a few meals" - nothing new. Evidence in support was markedly lacking, with caveats added for every supposed benefit, so that even the author appeared to be unconvinced. As other reviewers have said, the recipes are targeted at the American readership. Disappointing.

Barely readable translation into English
I’ve rarely bothered to write an Amazon review before, but 15 minutes into reading this book I am so irritated that I have finally done so.The copy is clearly translated into English - from Italian, by the look of the reviews on here - and is very badly done. Confusing, contradictory, vague, rambling, boring and repetitive. I’m on page 14 and am none the wiser.Also there is absolutely no information on who ‘Amber Lane’ is and what her credentials are, so I can only assume she is made up. Or that this book was written by Chat GPT.It’s going back!

Very basic, incomplete and inconsistent
This is very basic and it doesn’t answer questions that are raised in the book, for example can we consume supplements during fast and other questions.In the book the author is saying that we should avoid gluten and diary and then recommends recipes with diary.As such, I find this book inconsistent and advice very basic. Nothing that can’t be found on a quick internet search or YouTube videos for free!

Fasting ideas …
Between reading this book and joining Slimming World, I am very well set up to shed a stone in weight! Great to have some decent material to read with lots of ideas.

Great book that breaks it all down. A back to basics easy to understand book for beginners to fasting.

Good information but a boring read
This book has been written like an old school text book. It is hard work to keep your attention while reading it. I was falling asleep. The information is good it's just hard work trying to read it.

Largely Incompressible
While I was very interested in the subject matter of this book I found the writing style utterly baffling and I'm really not any more knowledgeable than I was when I started. Either this book was written by someone lacking formal education and a firm grasp of the English language or it was written by AI. Overall, it was quite a disappointment.

Very poorly written, full of errors.
I am sorry, this is the most poorly written book I have ever purchased or read. It reads like a poorly written junior high school research paper, and is full of contradictions and errors in both grammar and logic. Amber Lane desperately needs an editor. It does have some useful information in it, which is why the two stars.
