MijelloMission Gold Class Watercolor Set, 12 Colors, 1 Set (MPW2012)

I’ve been trying to get more into watercolors and I’ve been using a cheapo set that I’ve been beating up, so I decided I was due for a replacement. These watercolors are so incredible! The pigment is really strong and you can stretch them forever. There’s a good amount of room for mixing and I like the removable trays for easy cleanup. I can already see this set lasting a while even though I burn through art supplies. Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you’re on the lookout for some quality watercolors.

Well first of all CrushOn, the company I bought this from, put this product up after I asked them if they had this little pan set. So it was awesome that they put up this listing per my request. I've been wanting this product for awhile for but it was expensive on eBay, I had Amazon gift cards, and it's basically the same price as Blick art material's. So I'd say the price is the best for this product as it also includes a water brush. The paints themselves are extremely pigmented, vibrant, and only need one touch of the brush to pick up pigment. The water brush is roughly a size 6 round brush, comes to a nice point, is portable inside the pallete. I really like this product and would recommend this set to anyone who wants a small, portable, long lasting, high quality, good value, watercolor pan set!

I have dozens and dozens of professional grade watercolors, but this set is the dozen I carry with me every single day! I love using them in my planner where I do sketches throughout the week. They aren’t the best for blending, but for vibrant colors, simplicity, convenience, and high quality, you can’t beat this set at such an affordable price. I’ve had these paints for three years and I will probably get another year of use out of them…I may try to paint faster so I get to order a new one sooner. ;-)

I love the quality of mission gold paint. It's one of the few artist grade paints I am not allergic to. So I keep coming back to it despite trying other brands. Only gripe for this is the color selection. Would have loved for it to include yellow ochre instead of the red brown color.

These are such a game changer! I was so frustrated trying to use student grade watercolors and I got fed up. Worth the money. A friend of mine recommended these and they are so beautiful, so smooth, you can apply a lot of paint at once, unlike student grade. Mixing is so easy, great selection of warm and cool colors, and the transparency is perfect. Highly recommend.

It really nice, the colors are very pigmented. just a small touch with a wet brush can pick up a lot. i have some issue with Viridian because the texture on top really different ( like plastic somehow) but a little more work and it turn out amazing. Colors are super vibrant as well. Highly recommend. This little pallete can last a really long time. The price is a little high but compare to a lot of professional watercolor palletes I think this one still a great choice to buy. Love this one

Mission Gold makes vivid watercolour paint.These pans are slightly larger than standard half pans.I have a tube set of most of these paint colours (pure pigment set of 24 so I made a large plastic palette out of them) but this small palette is compact and convenient.Photos show size comparisons of pans and palette as well as swatches.

Great application

The actual paints are amazing. Very vivid and bright. I'm giving this product 4 stars because the company's tube paints are much more cost-effective if you just create your own palette. I bought these for 60CAD and then I recently bought the 36x7ml tubes for 100CAD and you get so much more paint.

Love my painting journey with this product! Even if just learning, it helps to have the good quality!

Very good watercolour paint. It’s too bad the blocks don’t stay in place. They are constantly falling out.
