Berwick Offray Matte Light Brown Raffia Ribbon, 1/4'' Wide, 100 Yards

Very nice!! I love it!! I used this to wrap little gifts in clear bags at Christmas and it made all my packaging look so pretty that some have said that it is too pretty to open and use!! It's a keeper!! Nice color, too!! More of an earthy kraft paper look....not golden like it appears on my screen. It made my homemade goodies look very classy in an organic way! : )Very happy with it! Strong, too! Have not broken any, even when I untied the bow and had to retie, it still stayed quite strong!

Initially I was disappointed with this ribbon because I expected it to be more like raffia. But after giving it a try on a gift box and to organize greeting cards, I was pleasantly surprised by its look and ease of use (when tying it, it didn't break or fray). I would recommend this ribbon.

I really like this ribbon/string/raffia. I use it as part of my packaging and presentation when I mail my handmade jewelry to my clients. I have several colors and it's fun to mix them together for a variety of fun looks. It's stronger than paper raffia, but has a similar "organic" look, so it works perfectly for my needs. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I'm a happy customer.

This works well as a tie on vases, packages, gift bags and any other ribbon use locations. Mixes well with themed events using burlap, jute cord, and other natural fibers. I even recently used some to cover the mechanics/floral tape and small corsages for a wedding and they complimented the other natural elements used elsewhere and blended in well with the flowers without standing out too much.

This spool of "wraphia" is less like the traditional straw wraphia that I am used to and more like a thick papery ribbon. It did work very well though, but might not be exactly what you are looking for for creating a large bundle or 'bow' on a present. You may have to cut it to get that effect.

So...I was told to buy this to make cheap and easy grass skirts.If you are buying this to make cheap and easy grass skirts- DON'T DO IT!!!!!Just buy extra premade grass skirts from the dollar store and tie them together to make them adult sizes.If you are buying for a craft use, I'm sure you'll do something amazing with it.

Looks even better than real raffia! I use it to wrap the knits I sell. It adds a nice, professional touch to my products. I have bought two rolls so far, and have not felt the need to look for an alternative.
