Arrived far earlier than I expected, especially as it was shipped from India. Bell was packed with great care (hard to damage a cast aluminum bell, though) and I thought that it was just gorgeous when I first set eyes on it. Well shaped, beautiful sheen. And the tone was magnificent! Extremely happy with it, love to look at it even when it's just sitting on my shelf. I live in an apartment right now and the tone is too loud to set it up and use it without bothering my neighbors! Almost can't wait to move to the country and mount it by my door.

Nicely finished, has a loud ring. Makes a good outside bell and an attention-getting inside bell.

Oh goodness. This bell wakes up the neighbors.Its quality is excellent and heavyweight. Love it. You can call the cows home while waking the neighbors. Reminds me of my school bell as a child.

This is a really lovely bell and and it sounds quite nice as well. You might find a finer bell, but it will come at a finer price.

Hard to ring. Cord is very big and doesn't ring that loud.

We ordered this bell for use on our golf course. The bell asks as an indicator that the area is clear for the group behind to hit a ball. The sound is loud enough that it is clearly heard from over 400 yards away and around a corner. Arrived fairly quickly and was exactly what we wanted.

Bell is nice, but was shipped with silver (steel) screws instead of brass or gold coloured screws. Also the ring attaching the rope to the clapper is a cheap flimsy wire ring
