Hi I just want to confirm that the drawers are 15 inches deep?

Can the shelves be taken out easily?

Shelves in my unit do not come out. I believe you would have to put together without them, however that may affect the stability of your cart.

Can this be used outdoors or will it not hold up to outdoor conditions? If not can it be covered with an outdoor grill cover?

I don't think this would hold up to outside conditions. Also, I think it is too big to find a grill cover for it. I love using mine. extra counter space in the kitchen when I bake and a crafting/cutting table in my craft room. It's very easy to move it from room to room.
