Worked well for me!
My experience-The drum/toner cartridge from LINKYO is the only one besides the original Brother drum/toners that has worked for me. I recently tried to other brands but both left dark black toner lines on either one or both sides of each printed page. While I have not tried all of them, the LINKYO brand has been the only brand that's worked so far, at least that has been my experience.

JUST AS GOOD AS THE OEM REPLACEMENT DRUM AND A LOT LESS EXPENSIVE
We have two Brother printers on our home network both of which now have LINKYO replacement drums in them. They were as easy to put in as was the original factory unit. LINKYO does provide instructions on the box about what steps to take if your Brother printer does not recognize the new drum unit. The reset process is easy and takes no more than three minutes to accomplish. One of our printers had to have the reset process performed on it while the other one did not.The print quality produced by both printers is every bit as the first day we bought them. We also bought a four pack of the LINKYO replacement cartridges (TN450 replacements) at about the same time. Both printers now have replacement LINKYO cartridges in them and again with excellent print quality. The good news is that when purchased as a four pack here on Amazon they run about ten bucks a cartridge, a real bargain.I can highly recommend these items to anyone (I do not work for LINKYO nor had I even heard of them until I started browsing here for replacement drum units). We took the chance. We bought them and they have worked perfectly for us.Everyone out there have a good day.

Do not buy
The previous two drums I purchased from LINKYo worked okay, but this batch does not. I noticed at first how very very light the font was--I had to put all documents in bold to print them off and proofread/edit them as they were too light.And almost immediately, the copier started to say, "replace drum". I would turn off the machine and such and sometimes get it to work anyway. But now, again, as I work on a vital document, it is saying it again and simply will not print. This is after only using this drum for a few weeks.I would return it but bought it several months ago before using it.Too bad, as it seemed to offer significant savings. But not if it does not work and disrupts vital work.

Happy to report - replacement drum received!! premature failure of replacement drum (DR-420)
update: 1/2/19:Happy to report that Linkyo customer service responded to my email very promptly, and authorized a replacement drum. In short order, the drum was received and first print jobs are excellent. Great service! Looking forward to at least 2 years of printing (the original Brother drum lasted almost 5 years).Only giving this 4 stars since the first drum failed in 1 year, and I've only had this replacement for a day. ______________________________________12/26/18:I have been using Linkyo replacement toner for my Brother HL-2270DW printer for several years, so when the original drum failed, given the 2-year guarantee listed, I chose to purchase a Linkyo replacement drum unit. Unfortunately, however with only light usage the drum unit has failed in less than a year. I have contacted Linkyo customer service, and will update my review regarding resolution status.

Perfect for my HL-2280; could use better instructions to reset the printer after install
Purchased this for my Brother HL-2280 to hold a toner cartridge TN-450. Super easy and quick to swap out. Just remove toner from old drum and slide into the new drum by pushing the small green button.Once the drum is swapped, it’s time to install, which is easy as well, but it may get a little tricky to get the printer to realize it’s a new drum. After swapping mine, my printer kept telling me that the toner drum needed to be replaced...After a google search, l learned that for the printer I had, it was two quick steps and I could “reset the drum counter.” Done! Easy! Works great.Only complaint is that the instructions that cane with the drum listed steps to reset the printer for the printer that I had, but they were confusing as heck. If they provided easy to understand instructions, would have been 5 stars
