These are perfect for travel. Keeps the brassy look out of your hair but it is very drying. Even with the shampoo conditioner combo…You better get something else to moisturizes your locks. Get a moisturizing hair mask or something. You’ll be happy to did.

A different purple shampoo and conditioner set I tried a while back was so horrible on my hair, I was convinced I would never use a purple hair care product again. I decided I would give this a shot and it is now one of the only ones I am willing to use. While it does tend to make my hair slightly drier, most, if not all, purple shampoos do so I just plan to do a deep condition after I use this to combat that dryness. As far as effectiveness goes, this does exactly what it is supposed to do. I haven’t had a problem with this shampoo staining my hair or causing any damage which is a win for me.

I have been trying several trial-sized shampoo-conditioners sets to find one that works with my hair and water (very soft). This one left my hair feeling limp and created scalp-build-up. It didn't work for me.

I've been maintaining a platinum blonde for over a year now and so I rely on toning shampoos and conditioners to keep up with it. This shampoo is pretty good, although almost every time I use it, it stains my hands and nails even if I wash them immediately. It does well in my hair though. Especially when combined with a toning conditioner.

I love this shampoo and I've tried many over the years. This one at first freaked me out - it's PURPLE..lol and looks like something that will dye your hair purple. It did not. It makes my blonde highlights just POP. 100%, hands-down my new shampoo! So this works! Even had people asking if I got my hair done. No weird smells. • Note, the bottle is well sealed. If you try to remove the seal in the shower with wet hands, it is impossible. Believe me, I tried. I had to use scissors to puncture and remove the seal. At least the bottle didn't leak in transit.• A small amount goes a long way.• Lathers well.• Pleasant scent.• Vegan, cruelty free, & gluten free.I used both the IGK shampoo and conditioner. It does seem to even tones and remove brassiness. I did have to use a leave in conditioner after use to remove tangles. My hair was soft and shiny after use. Of note, my hair is fine. I used the IGK toning shampoo and conditioner together. haven’t used this on my natural 4c hair so I can’t speak on that. But I have used it on my bleached bundles and wigs and it definitely toned down that brassy color. The shampoo and conditioner are a very deep dark purple. The bottles are small but a little goes a long way. The shampoo produces a great lather and both products rinse out well. Neither of the products left the hair feeling dry. This is the first time I’ve had a purple conditioner to use with the shampoo, I’m not sure what difference it makes because I used both products together. But overall this is a great product and it got the job done.

IGK not only smells amazing, it also works great at removing unwanted brassiness from blonde hair.I’ve been using this shampoo in conjunction with the IGK purple toning conditioner and the results are instant.It’s a little pricey, but well worth the cost!
