I think I went by her shirt size. The sizes on these are girl's size. Also measure under the largest part of the bust area where the bra would fasten. I hope this helps. My granddaughter really likes these. She says they are really comfortable.

I used these for my girl, it worked great, only suggestion, when you wash em the pad comes off and it’s a pain putting em back. Just be mindful.
