SIGG Traveler MyPlanet

This is a great little bottle. The design is beautiful and understated, and the lid fits securely and has a pleasing subtle texture. I've used this for a while now and have experienced no leaks at all, nor has the bottle easily dented or been damaged. It fits perfectly in my car's cup holder or a mesh sleeve on the side of my rucksack. This isn't a double-walled insulated bottle, so be mindful it won't keep drinks cool for too long. However, the benefit to that is the bottle is relatively small and compact but still holds a good amount of liquid. This is my favoured bottle now, and I happily use it over plastic alternatives.

Lovely bottle to replace a similar traveller bottle in a different colour. This colourway is very nice and much nicer in person than in the Amazon photos. Looks like a brushed bronze colour. Very light when empty. Only detracting point is the writing on the bottle with the environmental message which is on supposedly 'plain' bottle. Really unnecessary but I can live with it. The bottles are uninsulated and not suitable in my opinion for hot or carbonated drinks (your mileage may vary). I use this for office, meetings, and gym. There is the tendency when full that some of the water somehow spits out from the corkscrew on opening, don't understand how potentially it may be that it's such a tight vacuum when sealed.

Rather than reviewing thiss Sigg bottle, i'll renew my last one. My parents bought it for me around maybe 1999, 2000. It's been with me ever since. I've dropped it on a lot of rocks and it had the dents, scrapes and flaking paint to prove it. It was still fine to use though. I was thinking of maybe replacing a rubber seal, but it still stayed water tight. It's finally sprung a leak and needs replacing but it's done a fine job. Meanwhile, i needed a bottle in a different size. I bought another brand. Cheaper than Sigg but not by that much. It took a couple of littl knocks and sprung a leak in maybe 2 or 3 years. Hopefully i'm still using my new one in 2045.

I was really impressed to start with and would have given it 5* but the thread on the lid isn't tough enough to withstand regular use. It's a plastic lid that was managing with carbonated drinks and being used lots but slowly it wore down and now I'm hesitant to leave it lying down. Because of the lid, I can't really recommend it for chucking in a bag in every day use as it just needs a little pressure on the lid and it might leak, which can damage anything else in the bag. The aluminium is a good idea as it's durable (although dents easily) and is lightweight.

Used this for over 6 months. Holding up like new. Great finish, quality materials used and no leaks whatsoever.

This is not SIGG, the lid is bad plastic and the bottle itself is not the same Firm SIGG bottles. Its a cheap cute little bottle but its not a PROPER Sigg bottle.

The bottle is brilliant. Nice light weight with a nice texture. Pours well and a nice shape to drink from. The sticker on the bottom went black and very mucky when I put it through the dishwasher; probably should have peeled it off beforehand

É uma boa garrafa, só a uso para água e lavo-a todas as noites com agua quente e sal. É o suficiente para não ganhar odores. A cor é linda e o toque é granulado muito agradável. Recomendo!

It’s a great bottle, and way better grip than the classics. Don’t care for de pattern/print and/or the text- designs on any of them though, but seeing as it is such a good bottle, it just is way it is. Sigg always delivers functionality

I have used SIGG bottles for more than 30 years, never an issue except with this one: The rubber seal of the lid breaks down spontaneously with rare normal use only. Black debris sticks to the inside of the botte and I am afraid I drank some of it. Contacted service, they responded and asked me to deal with it through Amazon, but there is no warranty function on the amazon website. Replacement lid is 22 dollars plus tax. So here, I am am quite disappointed.

Meine Lieblingstrinkflasche, weil sie so schick aussieht. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, allerdings fasst der Verschluss manchmal etwas schief, da muss man aufpassen. Und dann fest zudrehen! Mir ist die Flasche schon mal mit gesprudeltem Wasser ausgelaufen, das war nicht so schön. Sonst habe ich sie gerne im Gepäck beim Wandern und Radwandern, aber auch im Büro macht sie eine gute Figur. Kratzer sind noch nicht zu sehen, aber schon kleine Dellen, aber es ist eben Aluminium.
