Perfect for anyone learning to spin. My daughter was struggling on ice to get her spins down because she did not have enough power to get speed. This has helped her practice off ice and her spinning has improved. The more off ice practice the better on the ice it got. With limited ice time this was a great solution. I will recommend to other skating friends.

Spinner
This is a good spinner to use to help with off ice spins. I can tell when I’m off center but notice that I can spin on it longer when I stand up straighter. Helps my daughters out a lot since they don’t have the best posture yet.

Realistic ice spin resistance. Foot placement odd at first. Cant "catch edge".
I like the spin speed. It was tough to understand where to put my foot at first, but I just copied the photo and it was fine. I use it barefoot and am fine. Has improved my spin form. Cant catch edge like some spin boards, but thats more of a on-ice skill anyways.

Works for dance too!
The media could not be loaded. I struggle with spotting a lot so this helps me stay stable while focusing on the work of a spot!

Improves turns
My child’s turns improved instantly. This doesn’t seem to slip on a hard floor. Worth the extra money for the non slip feature.

Great for learning spins
This was recommended for our daughter from her ice skating coach, now that she is learning to spin on the ice. It is great to have a tool to be able to use off the ice. She is currently learning other techniques on the ice in her beta class she is able to practice at home.

Good practice tool but DIFFICULT
This forces you to stay centered, which is great for perfecting form, but inaccurate to how skates will stay under you. Not for beginners, but those who really want to dial in the feeling of a perfectly centered spin.

Sticky Ball Bearings
If I could rate with half stars I’d give it more of a 3.5 for the product itself but the customer service was beyond excellent. The spinner itself was not in proper working condition upon arrival, the spinner comes with pre-greased ball bearings but the grease turned into a jelly-like substance that created a stick between the balls making it resistant and hard to keep balance even during a single rotation. I reached out to customer service because maybe that was how the spinner was supposed to be, it was my first one. Instead of telling me that’s how it was supposed to be or giving me a solution to make it glide better they offered to replace it for free and sent me a new one. Upon arrival of the second spinner… it was the same. Maybe they don’t move them fast enough and the grease just sat for a while? Or maybe it was just cold? Either way it’s not the end of the world, I put some WD40 in it and it spins better so with a little more work I think I can get it into working conditions. Other than that issue it’s great and the company is great to work with.
