Crankshaft (Big Bull Mechanics Book 1)

This is an easy read, with no angst and just gives you a lovely feeling that love exists. Both MC's are likeable and believable and the story isn't far fatched. I love stories with vets, they just seem so loveable. There are lots of characters featured from previous Four Bears Construction books which makes it fun and also scope for future stories.

I always enjoyed reading the books in the Four Bears Construction universe...I'm really glad that we get to spend more time there with the me Janice at Big Bull. Porter and Steele's story gives very sweet and steamy 'perfect for me' vibes with the outwardly nervous (maybe slightly nerdy?) veterinarian and the bear of a mechanic falling hard for each other. The developing relationship is great, though. It truly mutually supportive with both men showing up for the other in meaningful ways whilst they're facing some fairly heavy life challengers. It wouldn't be the same in this world without the whole side cast of characters bringing the banter and humour...and we get that in spades, too. It's a very entertaining 4* from me.

I read this book in one sitting because it was so unputdownable.Steele is the owner of Big Bulls Mechanics and really picky when it comes to men (think Chandler Bing dumping Joanna for mascara gloop vibes but Steele is 100% less of a douche). Porter is the owner of the local vet clinic who is trying to stay afloat and has little spare time. They keep bumping into each other though and they slowly start to become more.I really love Steele and Porter. Steele getting all growly over Porter was so blooming hot. All of the spicy scenes were. Seriously!Ever since Porters bad date with West, I've been hoping he gets his HEA and I'm so glad it was with Steele. They are perfect for each other.The theme of having a quirky pet continues in this series which makes me so happy.The Big Bulls men have the essence and fun of the Four Bears guys whilst still being unique and very much them. I loved seeing all of the cameos and meeting the new guys properly.Brilliant start to the series!!

The story fits into the previous series with some oblique and small references to the Bears Construction team characters. It will be interesting to read the next book in the series to see what develops.

Love the characters. I'm already invested in finding out what's hoping on with two other men. Bring on number 2!!

The men from Big Bull Mechanic’s are shaping up to be just as hot and dirty as we are used to from this author, I really enjoyed this first book and look forward to reading the rest of the guys fall head over heels

From bears to the bull mechanics. Another hit and wonderful opener to this series. Nice to see where this went and to have the guys back as well. Looking forward to the next instalment.

I loved this book like the authors other books.It has a generous amount of humour, that kept me turning the pages.Easy 5 stars from me.
